May 25, 2016I am filing this response to the above referenced complaint filed by *** *** *** s two children were patients of Lehigh Valley Pediatric Dentistry (“LVPD”)Upon becoming patients, *** *** agreed in writing to be responsible for payment for services rendered
to her childrenShe also provided contact information for the father, *** ***, Copies of the agreements are attached to this letter for your reviewFor privacy concerns certain patient information was redacted.*** ***s children received dental treatment, benefited from this treatment, and therefore *** *** is responsible for the costs of the treatment as agreed regardless of who brought her children to the appointment.The last time we provided dental services to *** ***children was on January 4, Our records indicate that we sent invoices to the attention of *** *** at *** *** ***, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania *** on the following dates: 1/13/2016, 2/18/201, 3/29/The May 18, invoice also contained a letter explaining that if the invoice was not paid in full within ten days that the matter would be turned over to a collection agencyNone of the invoices were returned to our officeTherefore, it would appear that *** *** received the mailingsIn addition to the four invoices, our office also discussed the outstanding balance on the phone with her because she called our office after she received each invoice.With respect to *** ***’s “desired settlement,” she states that it is ‘‘unfair” for the treatment to be billed to herHowever, her children received treatment and she agreed to be responsible for the costsIt is LVPD’s position that it would be unfair to provide dental treatment and not be compensated accordingly.LVPD prides itself on its professionalism and courtesy to patients and their parentsAt no time did DrM*** ever "yell” at *** ***Nor did LVPD ever “trick” *** *** or her former husband into scheduling appointments every three monthsLVPD takes pride in the fact that both the clinical and business aspects of the practice are handled in the most ethical mannerAdditionally, LPVD makes every attempt to work with our patients’ parents regarding billing issues and the payment of invoicesTo suggest anything to the contrary is completely incorrect.Kind regards,Amith *M

I am rejecting this response because:I NEVER agree to cleanings and dental work every 3 months.Yes they tricked my ex husband to bring our daughters for a 3 month cleaning and billed me.  Please pull up my children's past cleanings and you will see that I ONLY go every 6 months. I did not agree to pay for 3 months and they know it. YES he did yell at me when his office staff told him that I was "Flipping out" in the waiting area because I waited for over 45 minutes for my daughter to have her cavity filled. I told the dentist he was unprofessional and should treat his customers better, in which HE APOLOGIZED. TO lie now makes him look ever more unprofessional. He yelled at me in front of his helper and my daughter. I was also told to per my employer's benefits office to REPORT them because they fully know that [redacted] does not cover 3 months cleaning. I did not bring them to this appointment. I will NOT pay the bill. Unfortunately, the office staff has been rude to me several times. Unprofessional to say that "sounds like my beef is with my ex husband." [redacted] and I BOTH agree they are rude and he was unaware the girls go every 6 months. Again, I want their cleanings pulled up since we have first been going there and you will see that I NEVER agree to 3 months cleanings.
