This was my first time calling Lehman's Appliance Service and I was impressed with their service and efficiency They came the day after I called and how refreshing to have ***, a pleasant and capable young man, check our refrigerator/freezerHe found the problem right away and ordered the part on Friday and said he would get it on Monday at the office and come right after that to install it He was as good as his word He arrived at our home shortly after we talked on the phone He installed the part, explained everything to me and even vacuumed the condenser From now on, Lehman's Appliance Service will take care of servicing all our appliances I give them an A+
I was referred to Lehman's by Lowe's to repair a fridge/freezer I had bought from themIn fact Lowe's set up the appointment and everythingLehman's called and tried to set up an appointment for a different day saying there tech had to be in the area at 3pmI asked to set appointment for before that as I had to work that nightWe settled on doing it the day before, like Lowes originally scheduled as I would be home all day and the representative said between 8am and 5pm but that repairman would call to narrow down timeThe day of the appointment the repairman called and said he would be there between 3pm and 5pmAt 4:pm the repairman called and said that they were running minutes behindI advised him that I had to leave the house at 5:20, because I had to coach youth football that nightHe asked if my wife would be home and I said probably not, but that I would need to be there to go over the issueI asked if we could just get with the scheduler to set the appointment for first thing the next day thinking customer service wise that would be the best thing, to finish the prior days appointmentsHe advised me that would not work, that there were other people on the bookThe man then started blaming me for not saying that I had to leave at a certain time and what would I have done if he got there at 5pm and the repair took longer than minutesThe audacity of it all and the tone in which he spoke was rudeI was forced to raise my voice to him to express that I did not appreciate being blamed for them running late and that if something like that happened I would figure it out and have my wife come home as she worked minutes awayWhat he said next blew my mind, he actually said, "I guess I can leave the fridge I'm working on now unfinished to come work on yours." I advised that was not required but that I would like to speak to his manager asapHe inferred a couple times that it would not make a difference talking to the managerI finally asked, whyapparently he is the OWNERI was shockedI told him that day would just not work then and I would contact Lowes regarding the manner and said goodbyeHe called back like minutes later again arguing that I didn't say that I had to be somewhere, and actually lecturing me that one should let people know when they have things going on that might affect themI most certainly do notI made arrangements, I couldn't work with minutes late plus time to serviceI offered a resolution and he laughed at itHe actually offered then after I again explained my thought process to come out at 6amPerfect, no problem I saidto which he replied, will you actually be up and ready? Wow! I had been reduced to a groveling teenager in his eyes apparently, a subservient human incapable of being justifiedI replied, I am always up before six so sure and hung upI promptly call Lowes, canceled the repair with Lehman's and had it scheduled with another companyI filed a formal complaint, and advised them to call and cancel the service with Lehman'sHow could I trust anything they said after that experienceThe repairman actually called me at 5:the next morning to ask it he should still come at to which I advised him, NO, I canceled this with Lowe's and filed a complaintHe hung up on meI do not know if Lowe's call him to cancel and he called to be arrogant or if they didn't get a hold of him but shame on the company and mostly shame on the owner!
Wonderful service at very fair prices They go the extra mile to resolve appliance problems plus explain how to prevent future problems with every day care and

Excellent service from initial phone call to completion of repairRepair was done in a timely manner, repairman explained in detail how to better take care of my front loading washer to prevent further repairs, demonstrated what to do and wrote it down for meI feel the fee charged was fair considering the time spent for repairI would not hesitate to call Lehman's for repair of all appliances in my homeI recommend them highly

*** scheduled a second appointment to put in a part that had to be orderedWhen he scheduled the second appointment he said he would not call to confirm before the appointmentI called and gave him my husband and daughter's cell numbers because I got called in to work I had someone here during the entire appointment time but he never showed up because he couldn't reach my husbandHe didn't even listen to the end of the message I left him with my daughter's numberWhen he didn't show we called and he said he would have to charge an additional trip charge if he cameIt's not my fault that he didn't show up like he said he wouldI should not be charged extra, especially after being overcharged the first time
