Review: I called to ask if they accepted BOTH of my insurance companies and was told that they only accept one. I stated that I would need to go elsewhere as I knew I had to have extensive work; I was told by [redacted] to come on in and give them a chance, the consultation and x-rays were *absolutely free* and that I would have "nothing to lose"! I went, and after being told the cost of work would be 68,500 (not a type-o) I told them I would not be returning. I found that they billed my insurance company in Feb. I called then and was told by [redacted] that they would return the $ to the insurance company. I checked on it yesterday and they still did not send the money back. I called and tt [redacted] at the dental office and she told me she sent a check in Feb and would follow up and call me back. She did call me back to say that my insurance company's system was down and could not obtain any information. I knew this to be untruthful as I was logged in to the insurance site at that very moment. I grew upset and told [redacted] that I am very disappointed and that I was going to write yelp review. I then told her I was too upset to speak with her any longer. I did not want to say anything unprofessional so I hung up. She called me back and left me a voicemail message ( I can submit this as proof) stating “if you’re going to go ahead and write a review, then I am not going to send the money back to your insurance company”.

I called my ins. company; I was informed that their system was not down at all, and even if it were, they have 4 other calls centers that could have helped. The insurance rep called [redacted] at the dentist office and [redacted] told her the same thing – she would not return the money if I didn’t remove my yelp review. [redacted] also tried telling the insurance company that they billed because I had to come back for another appointment. This was all just for the consultation. Yet she contradicted herself when she told the agent she would return the money if I removed my yelp review.Desired Settlement: Return the money to my insurance company and stop telling people the initial consult is free.
