In response to Insurance Saver's reply Id like to say I'm absolutely appalled. I was never told that my vehicles paint job would not be covered. I urge Revdex.com to ask (Nichole) the lady whom sold me the policy if that is accurate. I never at anytime asked for any amount of money from them. They stated I had a friend provide an estimate to me, complete lie. the only estimate I obtained was from [redacted] and Body llc (see attachment). I only decided to take my vehicle to the shop I'm familiar with after being made aware by [redacted] that it was within my right to take it where ever I wished. I never spoke with Insurance Saver in regards to whom may done the vandalism. I would also ask that Insurance Savers provide pics that were supposedly taken at the time policy was purchased. Im 95% sure none were taken. lastly their statement about providing me with an accurate policy might also be a lie. I was told by Insurance savers no company they represented had such a policy. I also attached article written in 2011 about this very car. It's very hard to conceive their statement of not knowing the paint job was custom (pls copy and paste the link below to web browser for images of vehicle)            http://www.[redacted].com/news/news.aspx?id=3720  Sincerely [redacted]

[redacted] was told at the time he bought his policy that no custom equipment would be covered.  In addition, [redacted] signed an application for insurance that clearly states that no non-factory equipment not listed on the application is covered (and listing the paint would not help anyway...

since [redacted] Insurance offers no coverage for non-factory paint).   [redacted] has stated to us he wants a check for $7,000 because his car was keyed.  We found it very unusual that the first time [redacted] called about his claim, he had a dollar amount of $7,000 that he demanded.  Usually, customers call us first, report a claim, and ask how they should proceed.  This did not happen with [redacted].  The first time we heard from [redacted], he claimed to have gotten an estimate from a friend and wanted $7,000 to paint his car because it had been keyed.  When I asked [redacted] who he thought might have keyed his car, he told me not to worry about who keyed the car and to just get him a check.   When we took pictures of [redacted] Dodge, we had no idea the paint was not factory.  The car is grey and black with a pink stripe.  If this is a show car, it has the least appealing paint job in the history of show cars.  We would have no idea if the paint was from the factory unless we are told different.  Many, many cars now come with dual color paint jobs.  One vehicle even comes from the factory with flames on the side.  [redacted] never disclosed that his paint was not factory to our office at the time he purchased and signed the application for his policy.    The type of policy that would cover custom paint and other equipment such as wheels is much, much more expensive than the policy [redacted] purchased.  The price would have been at least double for such a customer policy.  We would have been happy to sell [redacted] such a policy if we knew the paint was custom and if we knew [redacted] wanted coverage for any non-factory items.

The "custom" paint was not covered and [redacted] Insurance will not pay for anything but factory paint. We wish we had known the customer wanted a coverage he was not paying for so we could have sold him a much more expensive policy that would have covered the paint.
