Review: I signed up for the membership plan they offer for discounted dental work. The family plan costs me $250 for the year, then whatever work I want done is done at a discounted price. Well.. I come to find out I am pregnant after only being able to do 2 fillings and a teeth cleaning. I go in to ask them to put the membership on hold due to my pregnancy and start the clock after I give birth again. They told me "NO". I paid 250 for a dental membership and they will not just put it on hold because I am pregnant and cannot have any of the work done?!?!?! I asked if there was someone else I could talk to and again they answered "NO " AND THATS IT! I lost my baby at 19 weeks in November and now in January I have started a new pregnancy and still have this issue. I wish I knew who to contact in regard to this because I am fuming upset. WOMEN HAVE BABIES & CANNOT GET DENTAL WORK DONE WHILE PREGNANT AND THEY WILL NOT EVEN PUT THE MEMBERSHIP ON HOLD TILL AFTER THE PREGNANCY! This shows lack of business ethics and the office was not willing to work with me at all to come to a solution, nor did they empathize at all. They were very short and very rude. Date of Purchase/Incident: 03/06/2013Supporting Documents: I have a receipt of purchase for the membership as well as the little amount of work that was done and paid for before I found out I was pregnant.Desired Settlement: Requested Resolution: I want them to reverse the time that I have been pregnant on the membership and mark me on hold from August to whatever date my OBGYN permits me to continue dental work.I also want them to make that a policy for all pregnant and nursing mothers who buy this membership. If someone is pregnant, ask for pregnancy verification and place the membership on hold till OBGYN gives permission to continue dental work with out hassle.
