*** and *** *** purchased an above ground cartridge filter system with pump early spring of this year About two weeks after purchase I received a phone call that the pump was not working so I said bring it in and I will give you a new one as that is our policy ***
came in picked up pump then called in and said our suction side auto cleaner does not work must be the pump is to strong ? In the mean time I had brought there original pump to our local motor shop and had it checked out*** the owner of the motor shop reported to me with "motor runs good, switch was dirty had sand in it I cleaned it out all runs great" I called *** told her the status and said lets swap out pumps again That's when She admitted that the replacement pump was never even taken out of the box ! They wanted there original pump ! What more can I say ? The motor that was never used was a single speed motor and the one we bought was a speed motor so it was the wrong one so why try to use it. These episodes that *** mentioned did not happen all on the same day and I do have the text messages from him stating he would get me a brand new speed pump to replace the speed pump that was making all the noises. The sand thing I am not sure of what that is since there is no sand near the pool pump area since is kept on a raised area made of wood so we don't have to deal with weed whacking the grass away from the delicate hoses. I will be glad to share the text messages between *** with anyone who would like to see them, I although I am sure *** may still have a copy of these text messages as well.
