Ma'am,It was clearly communicated on the order form that if we are unable to install due to the location not being ready, then there would be a return trip feeI did not speak with you to schedule the install, but my carport office manager didShe does not have a history of making fun of customers or intentionally lying or canceling jobsThe crew does not get the full return trip fee, only a small portion to cover fuelAs of now, they get paid nothing since the job was not completedI do not appreciate your remarks that they are intentionally trying to just make more money off of youWe install 2,carports each year and we would not be able to do so if we treated customers as you say we did.The crew did not base their decision to leave solely on the people doing the dirt work, it was also based on them seeing what needed to be completed themselvesThe carport takes time to install and they knew that as it was, it would be difficult to finish before darkWaiting another 2-hours meant that it was impossible to finish before dark.As of now, I have not been presented with any information that changes the need to waive one of our clearly communicated policiesIf you can provide me the name and contact info of the person that was onsite on Friday, December 4th, I will be happy to talk with themPlease let me know which option you wish to choose

I'm sorry, I typed the wrong date in frustration with all that is going on with thisTrying to deal with shady contractors while parenting two babies under two years old is not easy. The scheduled date of installation was Friday, December 4th, at noonIf your installer's spoke with some other contractor's I had working at my house that would not be proper business doingsOther contractor's at my house do not decide my business - unless your installer's spoke with them at they are planning to pay the 12% fee?? If so, then by all means, handle your business with them.Anyhow, I was lied to by the woman on the phoneShe told me they would install at noon and when noon on Friday arrived the work crew was goneIt seems obvious to me that the crew would LOVE to have the day off and get paid $and still come out later and get paid AGAINSo you tricked me into a fee by having your crew leave early

The customers complaints have been addressed and this building was completedAttached are photos showing the location being almost inches out of levelAs far as we know the customer is satisfied with the building and all issues have been addressed

As we discussed on the phone today, we will give you a full refund via checkThis will close the deal between us

I've been trying to call you so we can settle this that wayI do not know why you won't talk to me via phone. are you asking to speak with my dirt contractor?? That's an odd request but if you kindly call me I will provide you his informationHe was done at 11:40am and we were scheduled at 12pmI'm sure cell phone tracking service can prove thisRight now it's Sara's word against mine. The basic facts are: we were scheduled for install at noon; the site was ready at noon and no one was here to installTherefore we should not be charged any fee

Hello,I have attached the paperwork that we have in regards to this orderWe show (as indicated on the third file) that the install was scheduled for Dec 4th, between 11-*** is claiming we were scheduled to come out on 11/at noon, which is not correctThat is a Saturday, and our crews do
not install on SaturdaysAlso, that was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and our crews were off from Thursday on that week for ThanksgivingSo we would not have scheduled the job for when she is sayingAlso, the crews are subcontractors that are paid based on the jobs they complete and they do not intentionally not do jobsThey want to work so they can get paidIf the crew shows up at a customers location and cannot install, they don't get paid and they just spent time and gas to go thereSo there is not a context for the crew to not want to workIn this particular case, the crew finished all the jobs the day before and waited until to show up, since that was the earliest we were told we could comeWhen the crew arrived on December 4th, at am as planned, the people that were there doing the dirt work told the crew that they would not be done for another or hoursThat meant the start time would be late enough that it would be difficult to finish the job before it gets dark and so the crew left.Attached is also a Revision that came in on December 1st, which is after the date that *** is saying we came out to install. On both the orginal order, dated 10-23-15, and the revision, it has the terms, which clearly explains if we are unable to install due to the customers problems or changes, a 12% return trip fee is chargedIt also explains that 10% of the purchase price is non refundable after the order is submitted, since custom materials are made for each job.As we previously explained to ***, her options are as outlined on the paperwork: Pay the 12% return trip fee and we will come back out and install as soon as we can. Cancel the order and we return all but 10% of the purchase price of the carportWe would be happy to do either option as soon as *** lets us know what she chooses

I'm sorry, I typed the wrong date in frustration with all that is going on with this. Trying to deal with shady contractors while parenting two babies under two years old is not easy. The scheduled date of installation was Friday, December 4th, at noon. If your installer's spoke with some other contractor's I had working at my house that would not be proper business doings. Other contractor's at my house do not decide my business - unless your installer's spoke with them at they are planning to pay the 12% fee?? If so, then by all means, handle your business with them.Anyhow, I was lied to by the woman on the phone. She told me they would install at noon and when noon on Friday arrived the work crew was gone. It seems obvious to me that the crew would LOVE to have the day off and get paid $1000 and still come out later and get paid AGAIN. So you tricked me into a fee by having your crew leave early.

After speaking with the owner I was pleased to learn that it was simply a misunderstanding due to miscommunication from a representative. Since I was not at fault and there was no evidence either way the company was able to work with me to ensure that we closed business together on a good note.

Ma'am,It was clearly communicated on the order form that if we are unable to install due to the location not being ready, then there would be a return trip fee. I did not speak with you to schedule the install, but my carport office manager did. She does not have a history of making fun of customers or intentionally lying or canceling jobs. The crew does not get the full return trip fee, only a small portion to cover fuel. As of now, they get paid nothing since the job was not completed. I do not appreciate your remarks that they are intentionally trying to just make more money off of you. We install 2,000 carports each year and we would not be able to do so if we treated customers as you say we did.The crew did not base their decision to leave solely on the people doing the dirt work, it was also based on them seeing what needed to be completed themselves. The carport takes time to install and they knew that as it was, it would be difficult to finish before dark. Waiting another 2-3 hours meant that it was impossible to finish before dark.As of now, I have not been presented with any information that changes the need to waive one of our clearly communicated policies. If you can provide me the name and contact info of the person that was onsite on Friday, December 4th, I will be happy to talk with them. Please let me know which option you wish to choose.
