After being with them for a couple of years, I’ve now had two cleanings in fifteen months due to their inability to hold appointments or to reschedule in a reasonable time. Furthermore, every visit seems to be a series of upselling.

Many appointments seem to require a payment simply to be allowed to schedule an appointment that is multiple months out, no agreements are provided on paper… digital signatures are collected without any ability to double check what is being signed.

I know other patients at this location as well who have either had appointments canceled at the last moment or even had to show up before being told that their appointment was canceled.

I no longer trust that most of the personnel at this location have any real concern for the outcome of my treatment, instead it seems to be anything that can maximize their revenue is what will be pursued. I’m currently looking for another dentist.

patient get a CBCT scan. It was for the safety of the patient. On Monday, August 21st there was a request for the refund to be processed. The refund is processed in another state. On September 7th we received information that the patient did not receive the check. We requested a check status with the bank before we placed a stop payment on the check. We received verification that the check had not been cashed so we stopped payment. On September 18th we processed a refund the money directly to her credit card.

Within this past year (2017) [redacted] had been to Lemmon Valley Dental Group several times. He initially had x-rays taken, and was given an overview of work he needed done; this included deep gum scaling/cleaning which was done in 2 visits, another visit he received a cap, and his final visit was to have his 4 wisdom teeth removed. All services performed to this point were paid in full. We were told to schedule this appointment with the oral surgeon they needed a $100 deposit as the oral surgeon would be coming from out of town. I paid the $100 and the appointment was scheduled for 8/18/17. On 8/18/17 [redacted] met with the Dr and after he viewed the x-rays he determined [redacted] only needed one wisdom tooth removed. [redacted] did not have a CBCT scan or any x-ray taken on 8/18/17. The only treatment he received was two local injections and the removal of one NON-impacted wisdom tooth; which we paid $1945.60 to be exact on 8/17/17. (This transaction took place over the phone as did the $100 deposit).
I have never received a bill or invoice for any of these services. I would like an itemized breakdown of ALL services performed.
I did receive a credit of $1652 to my checking account on 9/18/17. I don't understand why this couldn't have happened on 8/21.
I called the Lemmon Valley office on 10/10/18 and asked the receptionist hypothetically what would it cost to have a NON-impacted wisdom tooth pulled and after checking she came back on the phone and told me $2,100. I'm baffled at how they determine what to charge for services.
