This place advertises cars at a certain price online, we called to verify the price, then we traveled two hours to get there When we got there, they told us the price advertised was "a down payment" and the actual price was three times that muchWasted a whole day on this scamDo NOT go there

-Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Lenden Used Cars regarding complaint ID [redacted] but I keep receiving calls for payments from Mareina  from [redacted]. The number is...

Linden Used Car sales engages in unscrupulous and unethical business practices. They falsely advertise prices for their vehicles nationally via the web using such sites as [redacted] and [redacted]. Many potential customers travel from out of state thinking they will be getting a great deal on a car, just to find out that the advertised price is not the actual price of the vehicle. They do this by stating that the advertised price is the "Finance" price, and is only a down payment amount. Even if you call and speak to representative, they will assure you that the price of the car is as advertised, only to be contradicted by a salesman when arriving at the dealership.
I traveled from out of state (NJ), spent over $60 in gas and tolls. Before I left, I called and spoke to a representative about a specific car I was interested in. The rep. assured me that the price I saw advertised on [redacted] was the actual price of the vehicle. Even after I told her I was traveling from out of state and didn't want to waste my time or money, she still assured me that the price was as advertised. Upon arrival, the salesman that approached me informed me that the price advertised was in fact the finance price. After I insisted I was told otherwise by one of his reps. he informed me that I should have read the fine print! If that was the case, why didn't his fellow employee know about that very fine print he alluded to?
After leaving the dealership, I immediately called the dealership back and spoke to the same rep. I informed her that I just came into dealership and was told by a salesman the opposite of what she assured me on the phone earlier. She basically hung up on me after I informed her that I was going to report the business the the Revdex.com.

Review: The bank took my car because the dealership had false documents about the car details and the contract they gave the bank was a forged signature not my signature.Desired Settlement: Undo the contract or pay the car so my credit can go back up and I get to keep the car again.

I specifically called Lenden Used Cars in Brooklyn to ask if their online pricing is the actual price or are there down payments and other hidden fees. The receptionist told me "no the online pricing is correct. The only other fees are taxes and car registration and license plate costs.". I asked again if she was sure because my husband would be driving over an hour to see the car. When he arrived he was informed that the cost of the car was two times of the price listed online. They are absolute liars that want to just lure people there and sucker them into a sale. The biggest liars ever!!!!!!!! Do not shop there. Its disgusting

Review: I had financed a vehicle from linden used car in brookly ny on may 2015. I had left dealer with the car the same day with liability insurance. I was told by the people from the dealer that it's ok to leave with the vehicle having liability insurance. However two weeks later I had got into an accident and the car was considered totaled. Due to the accident I had found out that the vehicle hasn't been registered yet by the dealer. I called them continuously and they kept giving me run arounds saying they would speak to the owner of the company to settle the problem and they would give me a call back. However they never gave me a call back. Two months later they send me plates for the vehicle which I no longer have. I have not made any payments and I need guidance if I should look into getting or lawyer or should I still be responsible for the payments?Desired Settlement: My desire is not to pay for the vehicle since I was not able to get it out of the impound due to it not being registered and now I will no longer be able to have the vehicle in my position at least to sell for scrap since the impound got rid of it for commission.

Review: The car is a LEMON! I have called for two weeks straight to get it fixed it hasnt been fixed. I dropped the car off twice and it was not fixed. So I went to another mechanic an the problem was fixed. The mechanic charged me 700 Dollars for it.Desired Settlement: I just want the refund of what I did to the car. The New Raditor -390 The Valve Cover so the oil can stop elaking -80 the tune up for 300 Dollars plus the cost of the cabs to work,

Review: I put a down payment on the vehicle in the amount of $2,500. I signed the contract and waited for the loan to be approved. I was able to drive off the lot with the vehicle and asked for a contract. They told me it will be emailed to me. I had the car for 4 days and noticed a foul smell coming from the air vents. I wasn't satisfied and asked for a full refund. They withheld $800 stating it was for cancelation fees. The loan was never approved by the bank and I never received a title to the car or the contract. They refuse to show me the contract where it states these cancellation fees. They said the contract no longer exists because the loan was never approved. I don't feel they have the right to hold my money and they refuse to show proof they have that right. They told me to take them to court.Desired Settlement: refund

Review: The verbal agreement price for the car does not match the amount that was placed on my contract. I was guided through the contract to focus only on certain areas. I was overcharged for a car. From the very first time I drove the car I noticed a series of problem which I brought to their attention My application was "shotgunned" which negatively affected credit score. My paperwork does even match the name of the locate that I picked up and saw the car. They really took advantage of me and sold me a car will tons of problem including transmission issues. My car spend majority of the time in the shop and they want me to make payments for something I didn't even get to drive or enjoy ! This is the most stressful situation of my life. I put $4,000 as a down payment and had me finance the same about of my college loans. That must me illegal ! I would never agree to something like that. They were determined to just sell me the car and I kept mentioning that this would be my first car. This is so unfair ! Worst of all the car still has the same issues ! *Lemon CarDesired Settlement: I want my money back. My time is way more valuable than all the things they put me through. I need a reliable car to get to work. I've been extremely patient but these verbal agreements will only make me suffer.

Review: I was shopping on the dealers website, [redacted] and found a car I was interested in buying. Specifically it is a 2008 BMW 528i, black exterior and black interior. Stock # [redacted]. The car is advertised for $12,500.00. There is a disclaimer on the bottom of the page that indicates taxes, title, bank fee's and dealer fee's are not included in the price which is expected. So before showing up to the dealership I called in advance and spoke to billy to find out what are the total fees involved so I can show up with the correct amount of money to purchase the vehicle. I informed him that I did not need financing, I will be financing through my own bank and purchasing with a bank check. [redacted] told me that the price I see is the price that I pay. I asked again, I said are you sure, he repeated to me in a condescending tone of voice, "the price I see is the price I pay". So on Thursday 11/**/13 I showed up to the dealership to purchase the car and they told me that they can not and will not sell me the car for that price. The said that that price is only for customer who finance through them. Which is not advertised anywhere on their website and not mentioned in the phone conversation with billy. They then offered to sell me the car for $19,000.00. And their final offer to me was approximately $17,900.00. I told them the most I will pay is $13,500.00 which is one thousand dollars above their advertised price and that was it. And I even regret offering to do that. They did not agree so I left.Desired Settlement: I believe this company needs to be investigated for illegal business practices such as false advertising and misleading advertising and most likely illegal banking and financing practices. And be fined and held liable for their shady business practices. I am not looking for them to now settle and offer me the car at the advertised price to settle my complaint. Because I will not do business with people like this. The only way I would ever consider taking that car from them now is it was for free.
