Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: LPD was NOT the first to inform me of my repayment plan, [redacted] informed me before LPDPage of the agreement signed with LPD states if NO solution is reached, a refund will be madeunless high risk clientAfter further review, the majority of consumers who sign up with LPD are high risk clients so that is their way of not issuing refunds to consumers they were not able to helpAlso, after further discussing my situation with ***, in which LPD informed me not to do after retaining their services, [redacted] informed me that my offered repayment plan could have been resolved between them and me and a third party was not necessaryIn fact, they informed me this type of thing happens often where third parties are hired for high fees and not neededNo one is trying to extort anything here, all I'm requesting is a refund as LPD was completely unable to assist me in any way other than generic emails every hours stating, "we are handling your situation"Well, it was handled alright, instead of $in arrears, we went to $18k in arrears and this is now our only choiceLPD charges 50% of your arrears, they charged me $2700, that's easy mathI wish to have no more dealings with LPD other than a refund, they've wasted their time with me, my time, and most importantly, my ***I'm not here to extort anything, discredit anyone, or make statements, just refund me for services not renderedIf I'm not offered a refund, I will seek other avenues in which to retain oneAdditionally, I have not in any way, on any website produced a review of this businessHowever, other haveIt is NOT against the law to do soSincerely, [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] ***

In response to Mr*** *** complaint Lenders Portal Direct feels it necessary to address these accusations while respecting Mr*** *** privacy Mr*** *** solicited the referral services of Lenders Portal direct on behalf of his property that was advancing into
foreclosure where his loan was already with the Lenders foreclosure attorneys *** *** *** ***with a severe delinquency of months and $8,approx past due (at the time of contact)Please note Lenders Portal Direct works with fully licensed and accredited lenders, Real Estate agents, Brokers and lawyers Mr*** *** is clearly making statements as you can see the contradiction in his fraudulent reviewMr***’s first statement about his amount of delinquency at the start of the process “we were $in arrears to the mortgage lender”, Mr*** was actually $8,delinquent and signed the contract admitting he did not have the *** to pay the past due arrearsSecond statement by Mr*** states, “At the onset, Chris informed us there were multiple programs”, he admits he was told there are multiple programs and potential outcomesThen Mr*** admits that he got an settlement offer “Now, months later my lender is requesting a $down payment and monthly payment has ballooned to $2660.00.” How are services not rendered if he got a settlement offer? Clearly LPD did the work or he would not have received a settlement offer that he just admitted in his own wordsAlso in the agreement Mr*** signed it states in several areas that there is no guaranteed specific outcome and that he is a high risk borrower due to his past loan history which includes a previous HAMP Government loan modification with a principal deferment of $184,which he then defaulted on and according to Mr*** the lender also offered him a settlement of $that he rejected prior to requesting services from LPD because he did not have the funds to pay itLPD successfully due to its service obtained a better settlement offer reducing the down payment by more than 40% Mr***'s 3rd statement, “monthly payment has ballooned to $2660.00”, his payment did not balloon, he is on a temporary settlement repayment plan to repay the arrears over a set time period of months then resumes his monthly payment of $Mr*** has the household income to support this repayment settlement as its within the debt to income ratio of 31%, he simply chooses not toLenders Portal Direct services successfully obtained a settlement for Mr*** as per the contracted services despite his history of defaulting on payments and negative loan historyMr*** has household income to support the temporary month repayment plan according to the lender yet because the settlement is not what Mr*** wants he makes statements and contractions in attempt to discredit LPD and receive a refund.Mr*** *** signed an agreement admitting to the following: 1) He did not have the funds to bring the arrears current, 2) He tried with the lender directly to get assistance and could not afford the offer, 3) There is no guaranteed outcome4)The advancing into foreclosure status was acknowledged during the application process before Mr*** *** was even a client so all parties were aware rendering this accusation falseWe take our work seriously and have an excellent reputation Lenders Portal Direct will not tolerate extortion or threats in the form of bad reviews or other actions when a client has chosen not to like a settlement offer that was clearly achieved and admitted to by Mr***Despite Mr*** being in breach of contract with his lender multiple times LPD still reached an affordable settlement resolution in writing by the lender Lenders Portal Direct has always given refunds per the contract when applicable.These accusations are clearly meant to discredit Lenders Portal Direct to force a refund We hope careful consideration of the facts regarding this review are taken seriously and the review discredited We appreciate our prospective clients understanding and hope the actions of this client and their credit history are seen for what they are Thank you, Lenders Portal Direct

Page 10 of the agreement signed with LPD states if NO solution is reached, a refund will be made. unless high risk client. After further review, the majority of consumers who sign up with LPD are high risk clients so that is their way of not issuing refunds to consumers they were not able to help. Also, after further discussing my situation with [redacted], in which LPD informed me not to do after retaining their services, [redacted] informed me that my offered repayment plan could have been resolved between them and me and a third party was not necessary. In fact, they informed me this type of thing happens often where third parties are hired for high fees and not needed. No one is trying to extort anything here, all I'm requesting is a refund as LPD was completely unable to assist me in any way other than generic emails every 72 hours stating, "we are handling your situation". Well, it was handled alright, instead of $5400 in arrears, we went to $18k in arrears and this is now our only choice. LPD charges 50% of your arrears, they charged me $2700, that's easy math. I wish to have no more dealings with LPD other than a refund, they've wasted their time with me, my time, and most importantly, my [redacted]. I'm  not here to extort anything, discredit anyone, or make false statements, just refund me for services not rendered.
