LendingPoint, LLC Reviews (2)

I have an account with lendingpoint llc When I got a loan through them I set up a bank account for automated payments I closed that bank account and let lendingpoint know before I did that I tried going online to make a payment through their website as they have a link titled "make a payment", however it doesn't lead to any options or even information about how to make a payment I then called phone numbers to lendingpoint, first their toll free number which I was on hold for minutes and then sent to voicemail I left a voicemail and still didn't get a response Then I called a direct line and extension and was sent to voicemail, no response Then I went on their website and left a message on their and didn't get a response Then I sent an email and finally got a call back about how to make a payment And the representative that I spoke to was quite difficult I let her know that I wanted to make a payment, she then said that she can set a payment up with me using the bank information they have on file I sent them an email a week ago letting them know that I was closing that bank account! Then I ask about the website and why it has a link to make a payment and she said that their is no way to make a payment through their website So I asked again, "Then why do you have a link titled make a payment?" She dodged the question and started talking about some system being down and they are having trouble processing payments and have been having trouble for the last two weeks Which really has nothing to do with me as I have closed my bank account so I am not in their automated system So then I go back to asking about how I can make a payment she tells me that I can make a payment by mailing a check by money order or by their automated system Well considering she just told me how the automated system has been having issues I really don't see that as an option Then I ask for the address to mail a check to and she starts telling me how to put a check in an envelope and put it in a mail box I finally get through to her that I want the address, so then she rattles it off much to fast for anyone to keep up without being familiar with it or having it in front of them Then I ask her to repeat parts of the address and she sighs in frustration with me and I tell her I'm sorry I just trying to write the address down Then I ask about how to make a money order and how that works as I've never done it before Immediately she says I'm sure you know how to make a money order and then tells me the address So then I ask again about how to make a money order and she finally explains it Next I ask her if I should write my account number down on my check for them to know what account to credit the payment to She then tells me that my account number is on my check that wasn't at all what I had been asking and I'm pretty sure I know exactly where my account number is located on my checks Then I ask again and she tells me that I don't need to write my account number they will just go by my name Really? What happens when two or more customers have the same first and last name? She then tells me that she doesn't think that there is any other customers with my name So after all that I still have a payment to mail to them Horrible customer service, inconvenient Only good if you need money right now and have plenty of money to give back to them Better off using a credit card then using them Basically they are only good for their customers if their customers are using them to build up credit

I have an account with lendingpoint llc. When I got a loan through them I set up a bank account for automated payments. I closed that bank account and let lendingpoint know before I did that. I tried going online to make a payment through their website as they have a link titled "make a payment", however it doesn't lead to any options or even information about how to make a payment.
I then called 2 phone numbers to lendingpoint, first their toll free number which I was on hold for 8 minutes and then sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail and still didn't get a response. Then I called a direct line and extension and was sent to voicemail, no response. Then I went on their website and left a message on their and didn't get a response. Then I sent an email and finally got a call back about how to make a payment. And the representative that I spoke to was quite difficult. I let her know that I wanted to make a payment, she then said that she can set a payment up with me using the bank information they have on file. I sent them an email a week ago letting them know that I was closing that bank account! Then I ask about the website and why it has a link to make a payment and she said that their is no way to make a payment through their website. So I asked again, "Then why do you have a link titled make a payment?" She dodged the question and started talking about some system being down and they are having trouble processing payments and have been having trouble for the last two weeks. Which really has nothing to do with me as I have closed my bank account so I am not in their automated system. So then I go back to asking about how I can make a payment she tells me that I can make a payment by mailing a check by money order or by their automated system. Well considering she just told me how the automated system has been having issues I really don't see that as an option. Then I ask for the address to mail a check to and she starts telling me how to put a check in an envelope and put it in a mail box. I finally get through to her that I want the address, so then she rattles it off much to fast for anyone to keep up without being familiar with it or having it in front of them. Then I ask her to repeat parts of the address and she sighs in frustration with me and I tell her I'm sorry I just trying to write the address down. Then I ask about how to make a money order and how that works as I've never done it before. Immediately she says I'm sure you know how to make a money order and then tells me the address. So then I ask again about how to make a money order and she finally explains it. Next I ask her if I should write my account number down on my check for them to know what account to credit the payment to. She then tells me that my account number is on my check. that wasn't at all what I had been asking and I'm pretty sure I know exactly where my account number is located on my checks. Then I ask again and she tells me that I don't need to write my account number they will just go by my name. Really? What happens when two or more customers have the same first and last name?
She then tells me that she doesn't think that there is any other customers with my name.
So after all that I still have a payment to mail to them....
Horrible customer service, inconvenient.
Only good if you need money right now and have plenty of money to give back to them. Better off using a credit card then using them. Basically they are only good for their customers if their customers are using them to build up credit.
