This is my experence with them: A repfrom Lenegan came to my house on 9/4/to replace my water meter as required by my service provider The meter was replaced successfully, however in the process the repbroke the nut on my water shut off valve causing a serious leak I was left with a bucket and told that someone would be back the next day (roughly hours later, all the while the leak filled a gallon bucket in about minutes) After speaking to ***, the owner, he had his rep, come back out to shut off the water to my house (this was not an acceptable solution) He then wrapped the broken leaking nut with electrical tape, and use a clap to try and slow the water flow down This did not work, only redirected the leak Keep in mind Lenegan offers hour emergency service on thier website (I had to have my service provider send an emergency crew out to but a real temporary fix on the pipe) The next morning a new repcame to my house to install a new shut off valve Instead of turning the water off at the street to do this (the water provider marked the shut off outside for him) he froze the pipe, which then burst after he installed the new valve, causing half of my basement to flood and dirt coating most things in that section of the basementTo summarize: Lenegan came out for a simple job, botched that job, instead of sending an emergency crew to fix the problem made things worse Send someone the next day to fix it, and caused half my basement to flood I would stay far away from this company
This is my experence with them:
A rep. from Lenegan came to my house on 9/4/15 to replace my water meter as required by my service provider. The meter was replaced successfully, however in the process the rep. broke the nut on my water shut off valve causing a serious leak. I was left with a bucket and told that someone would be back the next day (roughly 12 hours later, all the while the leak filled a 3 gallon bucket in about 30 minutes). After speaking to [redacted], the owner, he had his rep, come back out to shut off the water to my house (this was not an acceptable solution). He then wrapped the broken leaking nut with electrical tape, and use a clap to try and slow the water flow down. This did not work, only redirected the leak. Keep in mind Lenegan offers 24 hour emergency service on thier website. (I had to have my service provider send an emergency crew out to but a real temporary fix on the pipe)
The next morning a new rep. came to my house to install a new shut off valve. Instead of turning the water off at the street to do this (the water provider marked the shut off outside for him) he froze the pipe, which then burst after he installed the new valve, causing half of my basement to flood and dirt coating most things in that section of the basement.
To summarize: Lenegan came out for a simple job, botched that job, instead of sending an emergency crew to fix the problem made things worse. Send someone the next day to fix it, and caused half my basement to flood. I would stay far away from this company.
