Review: I was told at the time of purchase the diamond I bought is a VS clarity grade diamond and a G color grade. I asked for the written grading chart for the diamond and was told with a lot of confidence it's not a problem, I will get it. Since the diamond had to be set on the ring, the seller, [redacted], agreed to have the grading report ready when I will pick up the ring. About a week later I picked up the ring and he said he forgot about the grading report and I will definitely get one that will state what he promised at the time of purchase,i.e. "VS clarity and G color". Not having the report I wanted to get a second opinion about the quality of the ring. I went to 3 major jewelry stores and all agreed it's definitely not VS clarity and H color, instead it's I clarity and H color. I contacted [redacted],the seller, and told him he lied to me and I was sold something totally different than what he stated at the time of purchase and that I want a refund. He said the store has a "no refund" policy, that he never mentioned anything before. Since than I made every effort to work with him to get my refund but I was lied to constantly. He agreed to take the ring back and refund the money and I dropped off the ring at his store. Instead of processing the refund he used the opportunity of having the ring back and had it appraised at a different store for insurance purposes; than I was told he can't do a refund and that he now has a grading report. On that appraisal it clearly states it's "I clarity and H color", exactly what I was told by other stores that looked at the ring. I asked him why the difference between what he told me and what he delivered and he said he's sorry!!! Sorry or not he has my money and I' m stuck with something that I did not agreed to buy and has a value much much less than the $3,750 that I paid for the ring and the wedding band. Bottom line is that he kept feeding me lie after lie and misled me in paying for something else than he promised. Leo Jewelers is a SCAM !Desired Settlement: I just want Leo Jewelers to refund my money and take the ring back. I was lied to about the quality of the product being sold to me and that it's a reason to override the no return policy. I was referred to this store by a friend that knows [redacted], the seller, and that is the reason I trusted him. She was a witness to his lies and is willing to support me in any way she can to solve this issue with this shady business that is scamming the customers.
