Leo Roofing quickly and efficiently repaired a leak in my roof Other roofing companies had tried and failed The cost was very reasonable

You guys were neat, clean and quick and a perfect job It was a pleasure dealing with you AGAIN< THANKS

October I received quotes by roofing Contractors for a re-roof on my houseI spoke with the representative & or Owner of each Company personallyEach quote that was provided was in the same ball bark regarding costYou do need to however insure that it it an "apples to apples" comparison as cost can vary otherwise
What impressed me about Frank Lthe owner, he was the only Contractor that provided a quote in a professional binder which included the quote, specifics about his Company, license, etcetcAnd, he provided full color brochures with all the technical specifications of the products he would be usingYou only have chance to make a good first impression
Although, the project took longer than I would have liked (partially because of rain & the Holidays), I am very pleased with the quality of work & end result

We had a couple of leaks in our roof that were repaired by Leo RoofingWe were very pleased by their standard of workTheir crew was quiet, polite and tidyThe office communication was efficient and there were no 'hidden charges'We have already recommended this company to a friend and would not hesitate to recommend them to others

May not be the least expensive on roof repair, but do the best quality work They diagnose the problem including providing photo proof of the problem prior to doing any work The work is done complete and professionally for long term resultsNo patch work This is our 3rd experience with Leo and we have been very satisfied with their work

Leo Roofing kept its' word, showed up when scheduled and did very quick work and cleaned up afterwards Overall great experience I have used them twice now and have had the same experiences

I am writing this review because Leo Roofers specifically sent us an email asking for a review of their workHunter Taff emailed us on January 29, and asked us directly for a "Company Review" Because you requested a response we are answering We interviewed at least companies regarding our new roof for a home built in We picked ***, as he was a good salesman, and his price was better that most but not all of the other roofers However, everything went downhill after that presentation We were not too pleased with their work for a number of reasons First, we wrote them a substantial check on Feb 28, for the tiles We did not get the tiles for weeks, at least five weeks, if not longer They said they were back-ordered, which we only found out when we called asking what happened to the crew? No one volunteered they were delayed In any event, the roof was not completed until JUNE of That time frame was way too long, as the rain started falling in late May and June, not good for the tar paper, or proper sealing, or the exposed wood The workers threw debris all over our lawn and yard, we found piles of trash from their lunches and empty bottles all over the placeNo one cleaned up after themselves appropriately We also found a lot of roof debris that they failed to clean up We had to call the company multiple times to complain about how dirty it was and ask them to clean up They claim in their literature they are very cleanWe did not remotely find that to be the caseAlso, our driveway got stained badly from their work trucks Tar stains were every place, on the driveway as well as our FRESHLY PAINTED garage doors. The final roof looks good and we hope after all this it will be truly solid However, the tar stains on the garage doors never were cleaned up to our satisfaction Another real problem with *** was the gutter application that was included in the price We thought we were getting seamless gutters, and the gutters installed were not seamless Worse, the gutter installer hammered into the wood long nails to hold up the gutters, but this hammering just split the wood apart in many locations He should have drilled, so the wood would remain intact The wood is now split and cracked in many, many spots, at least spotsI emailed these photos of the cracked, damaged wood to Mr*** and he had no solution I asked our painter to paint over the splits to attempt to preserve the wood Now it is exposed to insects of all sortsMost unfortunately he said there is nothing he can do about the split damaged wood We conferred with the contractor who built our prior home, for another professional opinion, and he said there is nothing we can do about the damaged gutter mess In addition, the *** workers removed our gutter screens and threw them all out and did not replace them in spite of our telling them that the gutter screens were now missing We consider that we had a poor experience with *** and would not recommend them I would like to be very clear that I wrote this because you requested it

Started out great, assured re-roofing can be completed within one week. Now 7 weeks later, still waiting for roof tiles to be delivered. Excuse after excuse ("waiting for HOA approval", then "waiting for WRITTEN HOA approval", waiting for tiles to be delivered, then promised job would be completed 2 weeks ago, then last week, then today, and then nothing.

Leo Roofing quickly and efficiently repaired a leak in my roof. Other roofing companies had tried and failed. The cost was very reasonable.

Great job all around - proper diagnosis of leak, quality repair work at a fair price and on time. Professional group to work with, would use them again if needed.

You guys were neat, clean and quick and a perfect job. It was a pleasure dealing with you. AGAIN< THANKS

I signed contract with owner [redacted] for re roof. My home flooded during a storm, 2 weeks after my old roof was torn off but before the new roof was done. At 1:00 am, after I shut off electricity, I sent text with photo of home flood conditions to [redacted] for help. I moved furniture until 5:00 am while the bedroom ceiling literally fell open from weight of water (an 8 feet by 5 feet area). The next day, early afternoon, he sent someone to stop the flood. He asked me not to text him after hours because I woke him up. Later, I realized the multiple small plywood replacements he made instead of 1/2 sheets of plywood or full sheets of plywood had a direct impact on the extent of damage. An inspection of attic revealed over 40 feet of 5 inch replacements on just one side of home alone. I cannot convey all of the problems that were found by consultant or myself but I will touch on a few important problems from memory. One 5 inch replacement was bowing at the knot where it had almost split completely in half from weight of workers on roof. I hired a consultant when [redacted] became abusive to my concerns. The consultants report detailed both code & non code violations. For example, the products I photographed [redacted] had sitting in my front yard then opened & found in use on the roof by consultant who then photographed were not compatible with the modified bitmen upgrade material on my deck & this is a code violation. This material was later replaced around my 2 chimneys by the new contractor I had to hire. The consultant tried to negotiate all corrections on my behalf but [redacted] sent an inflated proposal that included $1,000.00 charge for more tile and refused to take serious or commit to repairs. I offered $3,000.00 toward repairs but I refused to pay for any more tile that even I could see were not needed. [redacted] sent me an email that said he had to much money into my re roof when he quit. To date he has not returned any of my money nor has he paid for the damages to my home from his flood. [redacted] refused to notify his insurance company & report the flood instead he told me in an email he had taken care of all expenses. I witnessed the new contractor haul away 1,000 new tiles from my home without the delivery of any new tile [redacted] had proposed need & payment of. The new contractor also noted the removal of said tiles on a receipt when he gave me a credit of $200.00 toward wood repairs. The new contractor was FL Roofing Services of Hobe Sound. [redacted] advertises high standards used in his products and workmanship. I never seen such a mess made with caulk. The man who came to put my new gutters on remarked about the poor quality of workmanship and product used on a small area of fascia board I had not repaired & painted yet. The building department noted in a report the importance of compatible materials & the importance of damaged wood replaced but did not actually site [redacted] for violations trusting that he would make the repairs before his final inspection. When the building department had a change of contractor form & my report that [redacted] quit instead of making corrections they gave me a guide sheet to follow to report the contractor. The building department & I were impressed with the way new contractor, [redacted], handled job.
In closing, I signed contract 1-2015. Tile finally came April end. He quit July end.
