Review: On Oct. **, 2013, [redacted] and Sons Electrical was hired for electricity grade on our house. Per the agreement, we paid $1,200 deposit (half of the total $2,400). After several phone calls and texts, they had started initial evaluation work on 11/**/2013. After one hour in the house, they said they can’t proceed with the project. When I called [redacted], he didn’t respond right away. I had follow-up with a text. At this time, he said he needed to work with [redacted]. That was the last time we had exchanged any form of communication. Next couple weeks, [redacted] didn’t respond to my calls, texts or e-mails. On Dec. *, we had sent an e-mail demanding a response from him by Dec. *.

On Dec. *, [redacted] didn’t respond to our request. On the same day, we had decided to cancel the agreement with him. In addition, we discovered he had never contact [redacted] to get a permit for the electricity grade project. We really felt deceived by his promise and lack of service.Desired Settlement: We demand to have our deposit of $1,200 return back to us for inadequate and poor service rendered.

Review: On July **, 2015, my family and I entered into a contract with Leo & Sons Electrical Services to complete wiring in accordance with the city code, as well as to file and obtai0n the permits from the Building Department for a total cost of $2,300.00. We paid him an initial deposit of $1,150.00, and Leo came to our house to inspect the wiring prior to beginning work. Since that day, we have not seen him. For the first week, he responded to our calls by saying he was going on vacation and would come back the following week. But not only did he never come back, he stopped returning our calls, texts or emails. The company cashed our check and performed no work. We checked with the Building Department, and no permits were ever pulled to even begin the work. We have lost almost two months of time and income from our house because the work was never completed. Currently, not only have we lost our deposit of $1,150.00, we are now paying for another electrician to complete the work. Since there has still not been any response from the company, we have had to hire an attorney to recoup our deposit money.Desired Settlement: I would like Leo and Sons Electric to return my deposit of $1,1150.

Review: This contractor has not yet submitted a work request to [redacted] to finsh work at a residence. He replaced fuse boxes with circuit breakers on May [redacted] and has to request a work order from [redacted] to complete the work from the street.I brought this to his attention and he said he would take care of it on three separate occasions and has yet to do so.I have a hole on the side of the house where the pipe goes into the ground for five weeks now.The contractor is the one who needs to make the request.Desired Settlement: I would like to know what I need to do to force him to complete this job.
