I am rejecting this response because: I WAS NOT TOLD PRIOR TO THE LEASE SALE THAT THE CAR WAS A DEMO CAR, IF I WAS SO INFORMED I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THE LEASE, I WAS NOT TOLD OF THE EXCESSIVE MILLAGE, I LATER NOTICED THAT FC KERBECK ONLY GAVE ME $TOWARDS MY VERANO WHICH I RETURNED WITH ONLY MILES I AM NOW IN POSSESSION OF A CAR TO WHICH $MONTH OVER A FOUR YEAR TERM WOULD BE AS THOUGH I PURCHASED A TOP OF THE LINE CARNOT AGREEING WITH WHAT YOU WERE TOLD I REQUESTED NEW CAR LOWER PAYMENT TWO HALF YEAR LEASE

Tell us why here... Again, we apologize for any and all inconveniences that Ms*** has experienced with her vehicles recent concerns and would like to refund her $as a gesture of goodwill

Mrs*** came into our dealership on 4/20/she was working with our sales rep Barnes H***.She has special Gm Employee pricing, which gives her the best possible discount available on our new productsWe have provided her with several quotes on leasing a Gmc Terrain, on all of our
paperwork it was disclosed as a mile year leaseOur lease contract of which she signed has specific language that states miles per year and penalties associated with exceeding the limits as to suchThe customer never said anything to us until after a month the deal was processed, if we knew within a few days we could have changed the deal before the leasing company processed the dealWe will be more than happy to help her out when she reaches her mileage limit to give her special consideration and trade her out several months early so she doesn't incur any over mileage penalties.Steve W***General Sales Manager

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I also was not made aware of the situation until I paid my first bill and saw the allocated miles were only 39kI will absolutely never be returning there to trade in my car, so the only way to make this right is to reimburse me for my overageI love GM products and have been driving them my entire life and you are giving them a bad name with your unethical practices.
Regards,
*** ***

returnedWe called *** *** and told him we neededto have certified funds at this pointHe returned to the dealership with a certified check and then we processed his motor vehicle workOnce the mv work cameback to the dealership we sent the sales representative to his residence and delivered it to him.His complaint has been resolved but it was because of the bad checks he repeatedly presented to the dealership.Thank you,*** ***General Sales ManagerF.CKerbeck Buick-Gmc

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:FC Kerbeck sold this vehicle to me under the premise that the vehicle received a through multipoint inspection by an *** certified technician and it had no mechanical issues upon delivery.FC Kerbeck is incorrect stating that this characteristic is for this vehicleFirst I have owned other *** with a *** engine and that vehicle did not have this characteristicSecondly when this " charachteristic" was investigated by a factory authorized *** dealer, using factory trained technicians and diagnostic equipment, the vehicle sold to me by FC Kerbeck was found to have a faulty ignition coil. FC Kerbeck did offer to accept this car in return and refund my money for the purch*** price of the vehicle onlyI declined their offer since I have had the ignition coil replaced as well as other maintenance issues discovered by the authorized *** dear that must not have been discovered in FC Kerbecks "multi point inspection by an *** certified technician"This work had to be completed so the vehicle could be operated safely, without rough idle and stalling issues Also this work was completed prior to FC Kerbecks offer to refund the purch*** price of the car I will accept one of the following solutions:FC Kerbeck reimburse me in full for the labor and material to replace the ignition coil and spark plugs, which resolved the rough idle$600.00orFC Kerbeck refunds the the purch*** price of the vehicle including tax, motor vehicle fees, document fees plus the total amount for all repairs and maintenance performed on this vehicle in order for it to operate correctly and safely

Our Gm contract has very specific language in regards to mileageWe have no reason to manipulate mileage on a contractIn the future if the customer runs over miles we would certainly provide her additional discounts and incentives to help her trade out of her vehicle sooner when she approaches her limit Unfortunately we were not aware of the situation until weeks after the deal was finalized. If we were made aware of the mileage problem we could have halted the funder and changed the miles within the first few days of the deal

*** *** was called serveral times that his car was finished and we needed are free loaner car backAfter days of no returned phone calls from *** *** we had no choice but to retrieve our car*** *** has is car back at this time. Thank you,John A***Parts & Service Director

To whom it may concern, The vehicle that *** ** *** leased was a courtesy service loaner that was eligible for additional discounts that was applied to her dealThe vehicle was presented to her as such.We disclosed all appropriate miles and discounts to her at the time of deliveryHer trade was valued at $11700.00, she is stating she only received $but that number represents her net equity. Her payoff was $11609.00 I hope this clears up all the issues.Thank you,Steve W***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I feel the attached letter will fully outline what I experienced at FC KerbeckI was never offered a 50% refundI did not bring the car in for the check engine lightI was never told that they would first diagnose the check engine lightAnd lastly, they told me the problem that I brought it in for was fixed and admit to not road testing the car before telling me it was fixed. I was sent out onto the road in an unsafe car
Regards,
*** ***

Tell us why here...In reply to the complaint filed by *** ***: When she brought her vehicle in for service the repair order for the work to be performed, identified concernsFirst concern states, ”Check engine light on and will not accelerate” and the second “check rear air suspension”
*** *** signed this work order when she dropped her car off for serviceSince we are considered to be the best qualified to work on automobiles since all of our technicians are factory trained, the first step in diagnosing any type of drivability concern would be to first address why the systems “check engine lamp” is illuminatedThis lamp indicates that there is a fault code and through proper diagnosis with the proper equipment will lead to the malfunctioning component(s) or systemsThese faults could also create a multitude of related symptomsOur technician performed this diagnosis properly, which lead to the fault code “P0171-fuel trim system lean bank 1”Upon further diagnosis our technician found the cause, which was a leaking intake manifold gasketMs*** authorized us to make these repairsUpon completion of the repair, the check engine lamp was no longer illuminated and the engine ran correctly without faultsWhen the vehicle was completed our technician did not rode test the car, he ran the engine to full operating temperature, retested and scanned all systems and was satisfied that the repairs were complete and performed correctly, which they indeed wereUnknowingly though the vehicle still had an internal transmission concern, which was never experienced since we did not road test itThe first step to the proper repair of these highly technically equipped vehicles with advanced computer systems that control virtually everything in a car is to monitor the main computers and run proper diagnosticsWe did this correctly although as Ms*** stated, another concern was still presentHindsight is always 20/and if we could have known that the initial repair wasn’t going to fix her car completely, we obviously would have forewarned her of the impending repairBottom line is that both repairs needed to be completedWhat Ms*** did not mention in her complaint was that we had offered to refund her a portion of the repair bill since she was disappointed with our serviceShe declined anything less than a complete refund for the entire repairWe are still willing to refund her $(50%) of the $as an offer of goodwill

The issue Mr
*** is concerned with is a characteristic of the car and the way it runs
This was explained to him when he was at the dealership. In
reference to Mr*** issue we called and offered to give him a full
refund and take the car backHe stated he likes the car and wants to
keep it.Thank you
for your assistance in helping us resolve this matter.Sincerely,*** ***

To whom it may concern,I spoke to *** and assured her the vehicle is still considered a new car and was never registeredWe also informed her that the car was a service loaner and has no prior damage history to address her concerns. She asked if she would be able to trade out of the car early
and I assured her she could as long as her financial situation allows us to.She will have special consideration when we put another deal together with her.Thank you,Steve W***
