To whom it may concern,We had a complaint filed against our dance academy by a mother.Complaint no is: 12065046We sent one reply for the complaint through the Revdex.com portal, and we read a counter reply. We do not wish to further continue communicating with the mother in concern, as we discussed the issue with the Elk Grove police Department, and we were adviced to stop communicating with the motherWe sent her a 'ending all communication" email, we also were informed by other parents that the mother in concern is misusing other parents personal contact information, and has been sending unsolicited emails to them, too.We agreed with the police officer that dividing the civil nature , aka refund or no refund, she has no case, as she signed an industry standard no refund policy, what mother in concern accepted in her last correspondence to Revdex.com.The police advised us, that she is becoming criminally responsible if she continues threatening, blackmailing us and continues to harass other parents. We were advised to file a restraining order if she does not stop with verbal /written harassment or to call if she shows up at our premissesMediation in matters of criminal nature do not pertain to Revdex.com.Respectfully,dr [redacted] *** managing director [redacted]

To Whom it may concern:First, I hope business owner could be calm down a little so we can discussThis is a complain to a business regarding refund, not personal attack each otherRegarding Bellissima describe me " black mail" "harass" "threaten", please provide evidence, otherwise, business owner's behalf will be considered " slander"I do have other parent's response that shows Bellissima faculty describe her " black mail‘ 'threaten faculty'last summerShe said if I need, I can forward the conversation between me and her to show people as evidenceI don't know if this is because the business owner has the same language problem as me or not, but those are really not good words from a business to a client. Second, I didn't do anything that not right to any of the parents or teachers in the studio, please provide evidence of any of my " black mail, harass, threaten" behalf and please report to police. Third, my daughter was isolated and bullied by the teacher and she lost interest in ballet and arts which she has been played since she was years old when we were in ModestoWe have the record for her every classes, and again I had never had any conflict with any of her teachers before, now, except BellissimaWho can give my daughter and me a fair? Who can heal a Child's broken heart? Forth, I choose quit because my daughter was bullied by the teacher "A", so there is a reason that I choose quit and ask for the rest three month tuition back! Fifth, I want to ask Revdex.com and business owner forgive my written English because English is my second languageAnd please read the following one of the reviews from another person whose written English better for a reference to see who is the one that " frighten, threaten, blackmail" people:*** **Roseville, CA 0 friends 1 review7/17/2015WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE EVER! I came for my private dance lesson, and the owner, *** , started to argue with my teacherShe kicked us out of the studio, although my lesson was on the schedule for a week in advanceI understand that it could be a misunderstanding or mistake in planning, but I cannot find any reasonable explanation for the owners behaviorShe burst into a hysterics, yelled and cursed at us (my teacher and myself, a client of the studio, whom she sees for the first time in her life)There were six people at the studio, me and my teacher and owner with her three colleagues (a woman and two men)I felt real threat for myself at the time, and literally had to punch my way out of the facility, running away in fearThe situation developed so quickly and went out of control so fast, that I can't even understand what exactly happened an why*** started to yell at us from the moment we showed up at our planned lesson, and very fast she totally lost control of herself, refused to return my teachers money for the rest of the month but required to return keys and "get out of the studio for good"After more arguing she returned the rent money in exchange for the keys, but it was almost a fight, *** tried to rip off the key out of hand and then to pull back the checkI seen such a childish and crazy behavior only in the kindergarden, when kids are fighting over their toys. Long story short, I was assaulted and intimidated by the studio owner and her colleagues, which made me feel threatened because of the numeric disadvantage, and after insults started to be physical (grabbing my hand, getting close to me with a threatening gestures, yelling and cursing in my face), I had to defend myself and run awaySame goes to my teacher. I never met a real professional ballerina face to face, and now I wish I never had.I would like to erase this experience out of my memorySeeing people who behave like this is already an insult, and being dragged into an ugly confrontation is disgusting. The reason why I write this review is that although I wish to forget this horrible situation, I don't want to tolerate such behavior from a business owner! You can walk away from a street fight, but if business owners will start to act like this with with their clients, this is unacceptable

I am rejecting this response because of the following statements made by Bellisima:1)We had no agreementThis is falseOn Monday July 29th at 3:00pm I met with Bellisima co-owner, Nora, to discuss renting the studio for JulyWe agreed that I would pay $to rent the studio for the month of July.2) I never gave the owners a schedule. This is also untrueOn May 14th I emailed co-owner, *** a schedule of my classes at the studioThe subject line is "*** ** *** *** ***." I saved the email and it is attached here.3) I did not accept the rental agreement. This is falseIn fact, on Saturday June 20th at 1:00pm I met with co-owner, ***, and brought a draft of the lease agreement for JulyWe agreed she would make necessary suggestions/changes as per studio policies and return it to me for signingI never received any further communication about this rental agreementTwo weeks later on Monday June 29th I met with co-ownerNora, who said she had drafted her own lease but lost it on her computerI never saw or received a copy of this draftThere was no agreement for me to “reject.”4) The police were called and a police report was made. There is no evidence that the police were calledNo police came to the studioI never spoke with any officers and there was no report filed with the Elk Grove Police Department.5) I interrupted a rehearsal to teach my lesson. There was no dancing/rehearsing in the studio when I arrived to teachIn fact, there were two open studio spaces when I arrivedYet, I was still forced to leave6) I forced my own terms on the studio. The price of $for the July studio rental was a rate set by the ownersThese were not my termsI did not force anything on the studio.7) I refused to leave. While I was teaching, both owners charged in and demanded that I “shut up,” “get out” and return my keysI had paid $to use the studio for July so I requested a refund in return for the studio keysThe owners reluctantly wrote me a check for $and I returned the keys and leftHowever, the check was then cancelled by the studio and I was charged an additional cancelled check fee of $by the bank.8) My client hit the co-owner.Both owners verbally abused my clientShe was cursed at and physically threatenedWhile leaving, she was shoved by co-owner, NoraMy client then pushed back in self-defense.9) I scheduled appointments “randomly.”I was instructed by the owners at Bellisima to schedule my classes around the openings in the studio scheduleI followed these directionsThere was nothing posted on the studio schedule at the day and time of my lessonI never interrupted any scheduled classes.10) I am only entitled to a refund of half the rent. The owners know this is an erroneous statementAccordingly, they wrote me a refund check of $However, they then cancelled the check leaving me with a refund of $and a $penalty charged from the bank for the cancelled check

The Bellissima management do not wish to engage in description of the chain of events.*** *** was told that the studio would not be available in the period in concern between am to pm.Studio rental does not authorize any renter to use the studio any time.In addition because physical violence was involved, what falls under the category of criminal and not civil law, Revdex.com does not have scope of authority. If we are further being harassed by *** *** we will press charges against her client, as how we were advisedObviously we are not going to give further details in a customer complaint about the exact police actions, and precautions in order to avoid further violence

We are not going to go around describing the situation*** *** never provide us with a clear schedule of her classes on which it would have been possible to make a reasonable economic calculation of her use of studio space. When someone is renting space, it is the owner of the space who offers a contract and vice versa.Again: it was communicated to *** *** that in every instance in case of dispute, or colliding simultaneous need for the use of the studio it is always BELLISSIMA taking priorityShe was clearly instructed that in that period in concern the studio would be occupied every day between am to pmShe appeared at pm without any sort of prior notice to the studio, and we were unable to accommodate her request. Her client/student in fact was more agressive and threatening, than *** ***, but she is responsible for her clients action and behaviorHer client Ana....was the one who held the studio key in her hand and was blackmailing the studio owners, and did not give the key backShe is a random client in our studio , had no authority to intervene at all. They were demanding and holding the key back for the dollars rent, what *** *** was not entitled , as she already used the studio for half of the monthAdditionally, someone who rents a space is obligated to abide by the rules and regulations set by the studio ownersAnd these rules were violated by *** *** and by her client, because they did not ask whether the studio was available for their purposes ,and wanted to obstruct the studio owners to continue their business activities. There were witnesses. At last but not at least the ELK GROVE POLICE was called as soon as *** *** and Analeft, they arrived to the studio and took a report and did give safety instructions to the owners to avoid further potential violent behavior on behalf of *** *** and/or client. When they arrived co owner's eye was still red after the bodily injury, what the police officers also noticed, and adviced co-owner that she could press criminal charges against *** ***' student for causing bodily injuryThere were witnesses who saw the physical violence

I am rejecting this response because the following points made by Bellisima are false:1) I never provided the studio with a clear schedule of my classesThis is untrueIn my last response I attached the email where I included my class schedulePlease review for your records.2) My class schedule collided with Bellisima. It did notAll my classes, including on the 16th of July when I was inexplicably kicked out of the studio, were scheduled during breaks in the Bellisima scheduleThere were no classes scheduled at Bellisima on this day and time.3) My student was a “random” patron. In a place of business every student and client should be treated equallyNo one is "random." Prior to this exchange, I held classes at Bellisima for 6-months without incident Nothing about my work or presence was randomMy student, as usual, came to attend class at Bellisima and was cursed at and verbally abused by the ownersThe only thing that felt “random” was the violent actions of the owners. 4) I was holding the key back from the owners. This is a stilted statement We agreed to exchange the key for the check but the check was being held away from me at hands lengthEven when I returned the key, the co-owner, Alexa, held her grip on the check, she did not let go until it was almost rippedThe exchange was highly unprofessional and appalling behavior from a business.5) I am only entitled to a refund of half the rent for July. The owners know this is an erroneous statementI paid $to rent the studio for the month of July, however the owners reneged on this dealThis is why, after kicking me out without explanation, they wrote me a refund check for $However, the check was then cancelled leaving me with a refund of $and a cancelled check fee of $There has been no effort by Bellisima to reimburse me for any amount- even the $they claim I am entitled to.7) The police were called.I had no interactions with the police, nor was I ever questioned regarding the issueThere is no police report on file for this encounter.8) The owners of Bellisima are victims of violence. The violence the owners refer to is their ownWhile unprofessionally yelling, screaming and cursing at my student and I to “Get out” they fomented an atmosphere that was both hostile and highly concerningWe were repeatedly threatened both physically and verbally during the exchangeIdeally, any guidance they receive from the police or otherwise will be about how to professionally and peacefully engage with clients and patrons

I am rejecting this response because:Here are some response from me:Regarding the program for age group, my daughter's class have different ages of girls, from to 10, there are around girls usually, some are take times a week, some are taking times a week, my daughter take time weekThey arrange different ages and levels of girls in one class, this is never happened in other ballet classesMy daughter took ballet classes since years old in Modesto, until we moved to elk groveI have never heard about a dancing studio combine different ages and levels girls in one class! I guess that's because they don't have enough students. 2.Regarding the house rules, I have never ever break any house rules or make any noises or any uncomfortable words toward any parents or any other faulty there when I was in the waiting room, otherwise they could call police to solve problemInstead, I received an email from the owner, who is the teacher's mother, said: Any negative comments to any parents or faulty will be considered break the house rule and my child will be terminate the class due to the parent's behalfI realized that one of the other parent from the studio received the same email from the owner, who is the mother. Since I paid the whole year tuition, I didn't expect to leave the studio someday and I didn't look the contract carefully to see the " no refund" policy and I signedMy bad, I should have read the yelp review before I sign this mother and daughter dancing groupI usually paid off the whole year tuition for my daughter's arts, dance, piano, gym lesson, I had never had any trouble with any other companies or organizations except this mother daughter oneI under stand mother always protect daughter, just like I always protect my daughter from harmful person in physical or emotionalThe teacher leave my daughter alone with no rehearsal dress and have her felt not only upset but a killing a child's heart, of cause I am angry, as any of the mother, who are always their kidsI pushed the door in the dancing studio is for my daughter's jacket, because she left her jacket inside the dancing, but I was considered rude and unrespectfulI have my daughter leave the class because she already feel upset, do I still leave her in to watch other girls wear the rehearsal dress except her by herself? This is considered emotional abuse Child which I will report to Child abuse depart further if the problem can't be solvedI do receive personal phone call from the teacher and force me buy the leotard and thighs and dress from her storeThey told me there were no strict dress code when I sign up the class, they sent email to every parents in the middle of the semester to ask for " dress code", this is "push to buy" in my understandingI got annoying by the teacher, so I told her we not going to continue and ask tuition backShe said:" there is no refund" I said:' I will sue you" She said:' go ahead sue me, I am the law, My mom is the layer." I went to their store and discussed with the mom, and we made commitment that we still continue but no more sales.6.Regarding nutcracker, they were trying to push sell T-shirt which cost $15, bu for one time useI and coupe of other parents refuse to buy and we were considered unrespectable. I have reference from other parents if you need. Thank you and best wishes

Bellissima Dance Academy has been having continius problems with parent in concern. Here are the major key points on the Dance Academy's behalf. IOur academy runs a program, parents sign up for a ballet program according to the age and level of the studentWe dont offer random classes
Parents sign a contract which clearly states the non refund policy, what parent in concern also signedTo pay the year in advance was her choice she did get a discountIf someone leaves the program , there is no refund of previously paid fees. IIThere are HOUSE RULES in place, publicly available on our websiteThe rules are to protect everybody's safety and wellbeing in classthese rules include a dress code, also rules how hair should be wornParent's daughter has got very long hair, for several warnings child always showed up with hair never in a bun, what is dangerous when making several moves. Our academy's students do buy their attire and accessories at a reputable , professional dance store, CAPEZIOA few times a year as extra service the store comes to the academy with a pop up shop, what is being enjoyed by all parents.Parent in concern called one of our volunteer parent a "pushy sales lady" when she was volunteering in the making of our Nutcracker cast shirtAs a dance academy we have a company jacket what competition and performance company students do wear at competitions and performancesThough her daughter is not a company member , she signed up for the jacket, screen print, embroidery took two-three weeks by the local company, during this time we recived several harassing emails from parent that her daughter wants the jacket, while all other parents were waiting patientlyWe dont make a single dollar profit on the jackets, but invest lots of time coordinating.Every dance school presents a year end RECITAL,,in which every student participate.Teaching dance/s/ is also a part of a regular classRecital participation is not optional, as teacher can not work separately with children doing the recital, and children not doing the recitalIt is basic standard all over the US.Parent in concern did never accept the fact and was unwilling to cooperate with all other parents and the academy's facultyDance schools do charge recital fee , what covers several related expenses, e.g costumes, props, hall rental for the recital, music , choreography etcParent in concern never paid the recital fee, and said that her daughter is not participating , because it is "playing" We are talking about an adapted scene of the biggest Chaikovsky-Petipa classic "The Sleeping Beauty" Other parents all paid the recital fee, and however the recital will be in June, the academy already ordered tutus , and the students were having a short rehearsal in their costumesThe studio door was closed, because class was in sessionParent without asking any permission opened the h studio door , rushed in pulled her daughter out of class and leftThere were faculty members and parents witnessing the scene, and they were shocked by her behavior. Several times she was threatening, and black mailing the academyHer behavior is obsessive, and frighteningShe threatened with law suit "I will sue you" I paid you for the whole yearShe called the teacher by names "you are bad teacher, you are not teaching good, you dont teach technique" etcSeveral times she was reminded that she has to respect faculty and peers, and has to follow studio rulesPaying tuition does not mean that someone can REPEATEDLY VIOLATE house rulesParent in concern has been calling, emailing early morning hours demanding the jacket. Her behavior came to a point of harassmentWe tried politely to have her daughter until June, trying to avoid interaction, but in a frightening, threatening obsessive manner she is leashing out.BREAKING BASIC HOUSE RULES is grounds for termination, without any refund of previously paid fees. Bellissima Faculty***

*** *** did not have any formal agreement with Bellissima Dance studioOwnership changed as of July Under the previous owner *** *** did pay only dollars per month to use the studio hold classes, rehearse etc.Bellissima tried to offer her a written lease agreement, what she did
not accept, and wanted to force her terms on the studio The new studio owners noticed that *** *** used the studio very often, several days a week, for several hours most of the timeIn the dance studio business studio rental usually starts around dollars per hour! She paid this amount for a monthThis is completely against the economic interest of a studio to have renters using the premises for free.*** *** never provided us with a regular schedule, as she had private students, classes who she made appointments randomly, and showed up at the studio and used it for her own economic benefit. At the beginning of July *** *** simply showed up with a check for dollars, what we took as payment , as far as she never paid beforeShe was told that in July between am and pm both studios will be occupied, because the guest artists would be rehearsing for a gala performance! In spite of that, without any prior verbal or written notice *** *** came into the studio around one p.m with a private female studentShe did go into the small studio upstairs where the guest artists from overseas were rehearsing alreadyThis point the artistic director did go upstairs too, and told *** *** that the studio was occupied because of the rehearsalsShe replied "I am not leaving, I am not leaving" and she crossed her arms infront of herThe artistic director invited her to the office to discuss the situation, but she was not cooperatingHer private student started to intervene and she was openly agressiveThe studio owners had to ask her to leave and return the studio key, she demanded the check for dollarsShe was reminded that she would be entitled for half month, because it was already mid JulyShe did not accept this reasonong either, while she called someone on her phone to come out to the studioEarlier the studio owners were reminded that *** *** "likes to burn bridges", and other stuff also confirmed that they have seen her a few times "out of control" Before leaving Before leaving the private student ***did hit one of the owners on the face, who suffered a minor eye injuryAs soon as they left the studio , the Elk Grove police was called , they came to the studio and took a reportThe officer advised that the injured owner can press criminal charges against *** ***'s student ***for harassment and bodily injury
