Leon's Hangups

My company was hired by Mrs [redacted] to refinish all of her downstairs cabinetsKitchen, master/bath, laundry room and living roomShe was told that depending on whether she wanted them ( the fronts of the cabinets only) painted or stained that the cost would be around $She agreed to the initial bidShe and her husband were home the first few days that we started the jobHer husband even said that he liked the first coat and that he thought why go furtherAt this point we had not WIPED the stain off a s Mrs [redacted] was so concerned aboutLet me make something else clearMrs [redacted] agreed to the sample that my foreman and I showed her before even startingWhen she got home from her trip abroad, we had all the cabinets matching the sampleIt took three coats to get the effect that she wantedInitially, We sanded the gloss off as I told her we would doI put black stain over the old color in order to give the color that she requested I am a person that will go out of my way to please someone , no matter whatThis woman not only wanted me to do her job at her leisure, she wanted and wants it for freeI have absolute proof that she is not telling the whole truthI saved every voicemail, e-mail and and degrading text that she sent me.In my entire career, I have never had a complaint that I could not satisfyMrs***, did not give me a chance to fix any thing was bothering herShe was not honest about having me come back to try to satisfy herShe waited almost weeks before she even let me look at the jobIt was another week before she let us come backAmonth or moreThen she told me that she wanted all of it sanded down to the grainI told her that all we needed to do was use super fine sand paper and touch up the stainAnyway, this is what happens when an amateur gets involvedMy MEN and I could of fixed the issues that she complained about in a matter of a few daysShe talked me in t o sanding everythingBy this time , I had already spent over $in labor and suppliesThen, after day as of sanding, she told my guys ( as I new she would) to pack up and get outShe told Chris "Tell Leon that I will ca 'll him." My other MEN will testify to that I really have nothing else to say about this matter Thank you! [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: This is completely untrue and the lies keep coming from this so called business. He does not (or didn't when I called the county getting my case ready to file in small claims court) have a DBA on file with *** *** nor does he have a corporation filed with the State of Texas This was no professional job and I paid him $2,for a job I could have done better myself. He repeatedly said he was going to come out to the job when they started to redo but he did not. As for his "men" testifying to what I said must have really good ears since they were outside packed up to leave for the day at 3:pm and his son- in- law was whom I spoke with indoors and I told him to have Leon call me. Leon was to come out everyday that week but he never did after I contacted him daily. Even to the point that the last day was sending me requests on Facebook for *** *** at noon and pm instead of coming to the job he took and overseeing or actually working. The most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with and would not return my phone calls. Still waiting for that call, left several voicemails, emails, and text messages. The un- professionalism is astounding
The "men" that came to do the job in the first place were Hispanic workers that were just dropped off to do the job without water or food provided. Not even the son-in-law stayed to over see or work. Just drop off and leave. I'd like to see the W-2's that show he paid his workers that much money if he doesn't even have a business on file. As for the supplies, he brought cans of stain that are $each at HomeDepot. I have no idea how much the sand paper was. I'm sure no taxes are being paid and more than likely undocumented workers. I'm a hard working mother and work jobs and pay my taxes and have extremely high work ethics.
This business should never be allowed into anyone's home or business ever. Never! It cost me a lot more money to hire someone to come and finish the botched job. I could go on and on about the low quality of work done. Every corner that could be cut was cut. He boasts on one website that he grosses $100,000. I'd be satisfied if he returned the $2,to me as that must be small change for him especially if he isn't paying Uncle Sam like the rest of us are as I don't know how he can be if he doesn't have a business on file with either the county or state
