Customer asked me new coat price because I ruined her coatshe said that was 3years old and just big spot on front when she brought to my shop on first week of novemberWhen she called me, she said white powder and film all over the coat
but when I saw her coat that was just color faded on seamline and on wrinkle lineI rejected pay for new coat price because some cloth fading faster because manufacturer didn't dye properly.She should ask refund from manufacturer or store where she boughtBut I offered her $ refund of cleaning price I charged because she said smell of mildew was still thereshe rejected $and then accepted $
We settled on $and signed on receiptShe
asked me copy of signed paper but I didn't have a copy machine at shop so,she told me she'll copy outside of shop and bring back that copyBut she never came back and filed complaint to Revdex.com
I'll never pay for her coat because I didn't do anything wrong

WowUnbelievableI did not say it had a big spot on itIt had a little spot of taco sauce on the front which is now gone (the only thing he did right re my coat)Not only did he ruin my coat, he is dishonest as wellI can also see he is very much twisting what I stated over the phonePerhaps there is a communication issue because he did not appear to speak fluent or very good English
When I brought the coat home, it had what appeared to be mildew or white on itIt smelled and still smells of mildewUpon further inspection, it looked very faded as well (from deep purple to white faded areas in many spots)Per his response, he is blaming it on the manufacturer...but I had the coat dry cleaned previously by Giant EagleI take care of my things and have my coats dry cleaned every year or twoThe coat came back perfectly fine from Giant Eagle cleanersI keep my coats for yearsThis coat was beautiful and I received many compliments on it
We did not settle anythingHe basically pretty much rudely threw $cash at me from the register to get rid of meWhen I went in there to discuss this issue, I approached him in an adult manner in an attempt to resolve thisHe was very defensiveI realized I was unable to reason with him, in part,, because of a language barrier and because he was just so defensiveI did not tell him I agreed to anything and I certainly did not agree to copy anything for himDefinitely strange that he tells the Revdex.com I agreed to copy somethingLike I'd really go back after the manner in which he treated meAs I picked the coat up and prepared to leave, he attempted to write on the receipt that he gave me $after he threw the money at me (like I was dirt)The $is a non issueHe should have given me my money back...that is not the issue...my coat is still ruined and I am out a really nice warm coat
For the record, I am a busy and educated professional person and really do not have a lot of extra timeThe point being I took the time out to write this and the initial complaint because this is just so wrong
Did I mention I took shoes in to him to have the heels repairedHe could not even find them when I came in to get themHe finally found them thrown under some counter with tons of other shoesThey were nice and shiny...so he did that right, however, I cannot walk on the one heel because it is not even or was not put on correctlyIf they were beyond repair, he should have said so and not taken my moneyMy mom took her shoes to be repaired there and got them back only to have the same issue again (what was repaired broke again within weeks)
Finally, it was against my better judgement to have my coat cleaned hereWhen I entered this place the first time, the place looked like a dump and smelled old and mildewyBased upon what I saw and smelled, I should have just walked right outIt did not appear clean, per what I saw
I am not taking all of this time out of my busy schedule to write this for funHorrible experiencePeople should go elsewhereIf you have an issue, this owner does not have the professional or business skills to deal with an issue in an honest or professional mannerI have never had an issue with a dry cleaner ever until I went to this place

I owned this cleaners for years.She made stories to justify her complaintI don't want respond to each storyReader of this can stop by my shop and you can find out in second, something wrong with her.If that mildew smell from my shop, why I didn't have complaint from other customer and doesn't smell from thousands of clothes I have in the shopMy lawyer told me I don't have to pay for her coat because cloth fading by age and quality of dye processI will not pay for coat but I can give her good coat in the shop that didn't pick up by other customer for long timeI hope she stop by my shop someday
