On 8/3/2011 I had a dentist appt, for a cracked tooth. The insurance company Delta Dental, which they have on file, did not receive a claim for this date. So they paid nothing. I called the insurance company today, 2/10/12. Still no claim sent by the dentist office. Instead, I am getting a bill for the whole service of $247.00. This is not right, I have insurance. On 11/7/2011 when I went to the dentist for a routine cleaning, the insurance was billed correctly for $145.00, and the bill was paid by the insurance. I want the dentist office to resubmit the claim, and call Delta Dental to insure, they received the submitted claim. I asked the dentist office several times to do this, and it is not being done. I just received another bill in the mail for $247.00 from the dentist office on 2/9/2012.
