Complaint[redacted]I purchased a fridge from Leons on June 1, 2014. The fridge was then delivered on June 7, 2014. The fridge is a [redacted] fridge Item ID is [redacted] 21.6 french door fridge 30" icemaker white. The unit price is 1,299.00 I set up the fridge that same day, and put all food in the fridge. In July, 2014 we woke up to a warm fridge with all are items very warm. Had to get rid of everything. Thought maybe power had gone out and didn't kick back in or something, so reset and filled up our fridge again. In August, we had gone camping for one week, when we returned home, again our fridge had quit. Warm all over again. Had to get rid of everything in the fridge. In August, we decided that we should go into Leons and let them know that our fridge had quit, and that this is the second time. They had told us, that we would have to get a hold of the manufacture, because they do not do anything about this as soon as it leaves the store. So, that is what we started to do. The fridge started over again, and we put new groceries again the fridge. around the beginning of Sept, 2014 my fridge quit a third time, and then I was getting real mad. I started calling [redacted],Sept 12, 2014 and they were terrible to deal with too. I was told that a service guy was going to come out and check my fridge. The service guy, was [redacted], and the earliest that he could come out was Sept 23, 2014. [redacted] had come out, and said he was not sure what the problem was but he was going to order a new motherboard in the back because it was quite hot. In the mean time, I still had to use my fridge, and of course the fridge quit one more time. This time, the fridge did not start again. It had stopped, and never did start again. I phoned [redacted], and he said that he was going to try and make it on Sept 30, 2014 (somewhere on that date) but realized that not all of the parts came in, and they have to wait for the other part, which would be another two weeks for sure. So, I we decided to call Leons, and I explained all this to him, one of the managers, and he said sorry, but I can't do anything for you....Just call everyday to talk to [redacted]. [redacted] I finally got a call from [redacted] on October 8 stating that he was going to come out on October 15, 2014. He then came to our house on October 15 and put in the motherboard. He stated that he will let this warm up and wait abit before leaving. He stayed here for about 10-15 minutes and said it is still not getting cold, but if it doesn't work, please give me a call in the morning. I let it be for the day, and over night, came to it in the morning, and the fridge was still warm. Phoned [redacted] and they said, well I guess we will try to order another part. To date, I still not have a fridge that runs! [redacted] Again, my husband went into Leons, and asked again, is there anything else that you guys can do...[redacted] is not helping us. Again, they said, just keep phoning [redacted].Desired SettlementWhat I am requesting is to have a new fridge. [redacted]Business Response [redacted] We will contact Mrs. [redacted] and make sure the fridge is working properly. [redacted] has completed this repair prior to me getting this letter. [redacted]
