Leon's Hangups

My company was hired by Mrs. [redacted] to refinish all of her downstairs cabinets. Kitchen, master/bath, laundry room and living room. She was told that depending on whether she wanted them ( the fronts of the cabinets only) painted or stained that the...

cost would be around $5000.00. She agreed to the initial bid. She and her husband were home the first few days that we started the job. Her husband even said that he liked the first coat and that he thought why go further. At this point we had not WIPED the stain off a s Mrs. [redacted] was so concerned about. Let me make something else clear. Mrs. [redacted] agreed to the sample that my foreman and I showed her before even starting. When she got home from her trip abroad, we had all the cabinets matching the sample. It took three coats to get the effect that she wanted. Initially, We sanded the gloss off as I told her we would do. I put black stain over the old color in order to give the color that she requested.
I am a person that will go out of my way to please someone , no matter what. This woman not only wanted me to do her job at her leisure, she wanted and wants it for free. I have absolute proof that she is not telling the whole truth. I saved every voicemail, e-mail and and degrading text that she sent me.In my entire career, I have never had a complaint that I could not satisfy. Mrs. [redacted], did not give me a chance to fix any thing was bothering her. She was not honest about having me come back to try to satisfy her. She waited almost 3 weeks before she even let me look at the job. It was another week before she let us come back. Amonth or more. Then she told me that she wanted all of it sanded down to the grain. I told her that all we needed to do was use  super fine sand paper and touch up the stain. Anyway, this is what happens when an amateur gets involved. My MEN and I could of fixed the issues that she complained about in a matter of a few days. She talked me in t o sanding everything. By this time , I had already spent over $4000.00 in labor and supplies. Then, after 3 day as of sanding, she told my  guys ( as I new she would) to pack up and get out. She told Chris "Tell Leon that I will ca 'll him."  My other MEN will testify to that.
I really have nothing else to say about this matter.
