Tv screen cracked right out of box
Hi Revdex.com. *** and I purchased on her Leon's card. Order*** tv *** for $1496.95 which includes an 3 yr extended Warranty. We purchased it on 02/24/18 and was delivered on 02/28/18. When we were talking to *** rep named *** we informed him we were doing renovations and wouldn't be setting it up right away. He never once told us that you have to set it up within 72 hours to make sure it is not broke. Anyway. We finally got the Reno's down and we decided on 03/25/18 to set up the TV. I opened the box up and took it out and put the mounting bracket on it and plug the cord in. When the screen come on I noticed some discoloration on the screen and upon closer inspection I see the screen is cracked. This was at 8:00pm. So the next day I called Leon's store and left a message with *** to call me back. Never heard back for 2 days so *** called them back and explained the whole situation to them. That's when we were made aware that after 72 hours it is out of there hands and that we would have to call ***. So *** called *** right after and they said we had to call there service people. So she called and left a message with them to return a call to me. We never heard back from them so I called him back and he told me that he wasn't going to waste his time to come and look at it because *** wouldn't fix or replace it anyway because the screen is worth more than the tv itself. That I would just have to suck it up and pay for the Tv that I can't use and to purchase another one. I don't think it's right to pay for a tv that was broke right out of the box.

Initial Business Response /(1000, 5, 2018/03/29) */
*** received delivery of their new TV from Leon's on Feb. 28/2018. Customer called in March 27/2018, four weeks after delivery, reporting that the TV is damaged out of the box. Based on our policy that is clearly stated on the bill of sale all electronic sales are covered by manufacturers warranty and are considered final. Items cannot be exchanged without authorization from the manufacturer. Having said that we requested pictures of the TV and the packaging that would support customer's claim so we can reach out to *** on *** behalf and see if and see if *** would be able to help. *** agreed to provide those pictures at the time of our conversation on March 27/2018. We have not received the information requested as of today, March 29/2018.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /(2000, 13, 2018/04/12) */
Just wanted to let you know that after a little time. Leon's has gotten the approval from *** to replace the tv. And everything has been takin care of. Thanks to *** at Leon's for talking to *** on our behalf to rectify the problem. Thanks Revdex.com and ***.

Washing machine leaking after 2 yrs. Extended warranty is not getting unit repaired, service techs in area refusing to come out.
Purchase date-Sept.24, 2015
Problem Date-July 2017, reported December 2017
*** Front Load Washing Machine
Order Number-***
***
Paid $1072.31 for unit and 4 yr warranty by Leon's *** Card
Noticed water in basement in summer, occasionally. Ripped up damaged flooring and investigated. Found washing machine leaking water a day or 2 after doing laundry. Contacted Leon's, they provided me with number for *** saying it was beyond their control as it had been over a yr. Spent 2 weeks trying to contact warranty (***), could never get thru, would be busy or just ring and no one ever answer. Finally got thru, sent out a service tech, who didn't find anything, kept saying it was everything else in my house leaking, closed the file. I contacted Leons again asking what to do and if they knew if there was another service tech that services the area. They contacted warranty and had them send a different company out. That company came out 3 times and did not find a leak because it didn't leak during the cycle (which I had told them). I provided various pictured of the leak and the water on my floor after a day or so of sitting. Spoke to warranty again to inform them now the unit leaks during every wash at the front of the unit. Sent request for service tech to come out and they refused to come out again. I was told there was nothing else that could be done. Called Leons and spoke to store *** and explained the situation told him that their store warranty rep was not very helpful and never followed up with me or offered much assistance and that I need this dealt with as it has caused a lot of damage to my basement and it now leaks every load and it now randomly shuts off in the middle of wash cycles and locks the door then turns back on. Received a call back saying he could only offer $531.79. Told him that was not acceptable as its not my fault no one will come look at it. Told him it should be a replacement of equal value like I was told when I purchased the unit. He stated that was not possible and he was taking the 531.79 off the table because obviously that wasn't what I wanted when I requested a replacement. I explained that a replacement to me means it costs me nothing and that is how it was explained when we purchased the unit with extended warranty. The store *** was not willing to do anything more than warranty to assist with the issue and help satisfy a customer by sticking to what his employee told us at time of purchase. Contacted warranty again and the final offer was $531.79 to be used in store at Leon's Trenton. I do not wish to shop there but I feel I am entitled to the cash for a new machine elsewhere or a free of charge replacement from Leon's Trenton.

Initial Business Response /(1000, 5, 2018/03/06) */
We contacted *** and were able to negotiate a full credit of $749.00 plus tax towards a replacement washer. We contacted customer and advised her of the credit which she accepted. Customer will be in to re-select in next few days.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /(2000, 7, 2018/03/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accepted the offer from Leons because that is what I was asking for the whole time I have been dealing with them. It is unfortunate that I had to take these measures in order to get a satisfactory response from them, but I am pleased that with the support of Revdex.com I finally got what I deserved in this case. Thank you for your help.

On our original delivery of our appliances to our home, the *** went to the wrong address when our correct address was given prior to delivery. We spoke with their *** and was asked to drive over to get them, instead of them just coming to the correct address 2 km away. Once they we at the correct address, the *** proceeded to refuse to deliver the appliance because the temporary stairs were in. Delivery was rescheduled. On the second delivery attempt, the *** were told multiple times by myself that the fridge was for the garage and the freezer was for in the basement. Once again, it didn't go very well as the *** put the full sized friedge in our basement and the full sized freezer in the garage. I had loaded the freezer *** plugged it in thinking it was the fridge, as I personally told them multiple times that the fridge was for the garage and the freezer was for the basement. Luckily, I noticed the error myself later that day (as the fridge was supposed to have glass shelves and the freezer has wire shelves) and I unplugged it in time *** our stick vacuum was not delivered to us until the third visit here, and we had to ask for it twice to receive it.
I was told multiple times this would be corrected and when the *** came most recently, after going to the wrong address yet again, it was obvious that they didn't want to correct the issue. They refused to relocate the appliances suggesting a special form was required, *** when I asked for the form they said they didn't have one. And then they left. ***.
We had to make several phone calls and at that point, after all of the issues and lack of customer service from Leon's, we decided to request they be picked up and returned with a full refund and we planned to purchase a fridge and freezer elsewhere. ***. ***. We ended up going into the store to discuss this and was told they would call us back. They phoned us on a Saturday while we were away and we advised we were not pleased with the $100 gift card offered for the inconveniences experienced so far and would get back to them.
A few days later, Leon's sent new *** to the house to move the appliances. We were not even sure if we wanted to keep them due to the lack of service, however we decided with the *** at our home, they could move them around to their correct locations. There was no form that was required to be signed. The *** then proceeded to walk through our home with their wet, *** boots and used a metal trolley on our brand new hardwood stairs. The stairs are now damaged and it's not an easy repair. The stain has been scrapped off from the trolley on half of the stairs in multiple places. They did not use the correct equipment and damaged our property. *** from our builders team was here and commented that someone made a 10k mistake to our stairs, as you can't just correct this easily. We went in to the store again and the *** told us he had no power to do anything. Also, our *** dishwasher was ordered in the wrong colour and didn't match our other appliances and had to be reordered in the correct colour. Yet another inconvenience, *** to wait for the plumber and electrician.

Initial Business Response /(1000, 12, 2018/02/23) */
We offered *** what we thought was a fair resolution. We paid for the re and re on the wrong dishwasher, and offered to touch up the stairs, as well as the option of the $250.00 in-store credit or $150.00 refund prior to her complaint to the Revdex.com.
Once we received this complaint the *** has tried contacting her on Feb. 12th and Feb. 22nd 2018, leaving *** a detailed message on *** voice mail to call back so we can discus her complaint, with no call back.
