Leo's Sewer & Drain Service, Inc.

Last summer I had Leo's clean my sewer line. They did a good job & charged as quoted over the phone which is often not the case. I need this service at least once a year & planned to continue to use them. I passed out their business cards at my work. So last month when a valve started leaking on my water heater, I called them. It was a Sunday; they came right out at no extra charge. I thought this was great! The Tech told me he left the temperature set where it should be. Later the water came out scalding. I turned it down a notch , still scalding. Another notch (Medium). Hot but not quite scalding. I became concerned that there might be another issue since it wasn't like that before. I called & he left a message telling me how to adjust the temperature. That wasn't the issue & I know how to do that. I called the next day & explained the issue. I even stated it might be okay, I wasn't sure. He said he would come back in 2 days & check it out. He said it should be ok because it wasn't that old & mentioned a couple of things that could be wrong. He never showed or called on the designated day. I called him the next day. He didn't remember saying he would come back or what the concern was. When I explained it again, he didn't offer to come back, just said it should be okay. I called the office & told them what happened. They rescheduled someone to come out. Under the circumstances, I said I didn't want the 1st Tech to come back. I work so I set up for them to come back & my neighbor would let them in & they could call me at work if necessary. The next morning, without talking to me personally, the owner,[redacted], left a rude, condescending message with ultimatums on my phone. He said he wasn't coming unless I was home, I didn't want the 1st Tech (who blew me off) back & he wasn't going to play around with my neighbor. Indicated I had to be there so the water was adjusted to my satisfaction which wasn't the issue at all. I just wanted to be sure there was nothing else wrong that could cause other problems. I don't know a lot about the operation of water heaters. I do know how to adjust temperatures. I had to call my neighbor back. I came to work late & upset. He left another message at my work. I still have them. I called the office back & told them I had a rude message on my phone. The girl had heard him make the call. She tried to tell me what a nice person he was & that he just wanted to help me. I wasn't buying that. I just told her we were done. The sad thing is the dispatchers were always pleasant. Even the Tech who didn't follow through was pleasant. The men who serviced my sewer line was nice & I was happy with their work I just told her we were done.
