All quotes have an expiration dateThis fact is not unique to our company or even our industryThere was no contract in placeWhat the customer fails to understand is that no carrier will load the vehicle at the rate nowYesThat rate was good days ago, but not any longerSo if I were to place the order with him the vehicle would sit there for weeksSorry, but I can't guarantee rates will stay the same indefinitely and we can't predict what the rates will be in three weeksThat is why quotes expire

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:he should have made that clear when he quoted and not days before pick upIf he quoted incorrectly he should stand by it and deliver on his promiseBait and switch at its finest Sincerely, [redacted]

While the dispatcher, Tobais, could be a bit friendlier on the phone, the services provided were as described and the driver that came had great equipment, verifiable insurance and was professional and helpfulGuess I don't need a warm fuzzy if they get the job done as statedI'm using Lepke for another vehicle this monthThe Revdex.com reports help as do the years in this business

I quoted Mr [redacted] $to ship his car on 5/19, from Fort Lauderdale, FL to San Jose, CAOur quotes are generally only good for three weeks so we do not book orders more than three weeks outThe reason we do this is because rates fluctuate all the time and are exceptionally volatile during the springtime in Florida due to the heavy amount of snowbirds leaving the areaOf course a quote is not valid indefinitelyAlso, when a customer calls to place an order we first validate the rate to make sure the shipment has a good chance to be dispatched to a carrierIf the rate is too low it will never be dispatched to a carrier and the customer could wait weeks to get their vehicle picked up.Mr [redacted] called on 6/and demanded his day old quote be honoredI kindly explained to him that the rates have gone up on that route and we could no longer get his vehicle moved at that rateMr [redacted] was very upset, cursed me out and hung up the phoneAn order was never placed with our company

Contact Name and Title: *** *** Owner

Contact Email: ***@lepkeautotrans.com
When placing the order I told *** that we should have a carrier pick up her vehicle between April 8-As the date
approached I advised her that the only truck available would pick up on April Mrs *** wanted a partial refund for the delayed pick up as well as payment for her rental carOur contract clearly states that we do not pay for rental cars due to delaysShe insisted on us paying for the rental car so I kindly advised her that we would not be able to haul her vehicle and canceled the orderAgain, we apologize for the delayHowever, we feel that a two day delay does not obligate us to take $of her vehicle transportWe believe Mrs *** was being unreasonable
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 9, 2014/05/02) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Mr***'s response does not accurately state the factsMr*** broke his contract and hung up on meHe thought that was 'kindly"? I don'tAnd he completely made up the "$500.00" amountI asked what he would do to help me and if he would pay for a rental car since he was responsible for the lateness of his company(renting a car for a few days would have been much less than $so I don't know where he got that amount.) That was when he hung up
I was able to find another companyThis company came when they said they would and delivered the car when they said they wouldSo I have no need to ask *** Auto Trans for reimbursement of expenses
What is important to me, and I hope to the Revdex.com, is that the *** company couldn't be bothered to help meI tried for three days, unsuccessfully, to reach them as they hadn't come to get the car as agreed to in our contractAfter three days I reached *** *** and asked what he would do to help meHis response was that he was not honoring his contract and he hung up
This is not a reliable company and does not deserve the Revdex.com rating they so prominently advertise
I hope the Revdex.com will reconsider its rating and I ask that you post my comment so that other buyers can take my bad experience into account as they make their decision

Lepke Auto Transport ships over vehicles per yearSince having an account with the Revdex.com we have averaged less than one complaint per yearThat is a 99.99% success rateThat is an exceptional record, especially in such a volatile industry as transportationLepke Auto Transportation is very well deserving of the A+ rating that we have earned

I called them for a quote. Specifically told them don't put me on the board. They just do it anyways. And when I call back trying to let them take it off the board. They just won't do it and hang up my phone calls. Horrible people

All quotes have an expiration date. This fact is not unique to our company or even our industry. There was no contract in place. What the customer fails to understand is that no carrier will load the vehicle at the rate now. Yes. That rate was good 19 days ago, but not any longer. So if I were to place the order with him the vehicle would sit there for weeks. Sorry, but I can't guarantee rates will stay the same indefinitely and we can't predict what the rates will be in three weeks. That is why quotes expire.

upon delivery his vehicle was missing the door to the gas cap. I advised [redacted] that we will need the BOL with documented damaage to file a claim through the carrier's insurance company. [redacted] said he did not receive a BOL. I asked the carrier for the BOL and they provided me with a BOL signed by [redacted] that noted the gas cap door missing when picked up at the auction. [redacted] believes that BOL was forged. I provided [redacted] with a copy of the carrier's insurance certificate but advised him that I have no way of proving that the BOL was forged nor filing a claim due to the BOL clearing them of damage. [redacted] didn't report the damage until the day after delivery. I did provide [redacted] with the carrier's insurance certificate.
