I left a message with ***, I have the car scheduled for the engine to be installed on Monday July 20thThe parts were defective by manufacturer, not from technician installationWe are installing an engine with over 100K less miles on it than the engine that is currently in the carI will be in contact with the Revdex.com to share what I paid outI understand *** and ***'s frustrationI have a large company which is giving me no compensation on labor or the engine, only the defective parts that caused all of this

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Mr. F[redacted] actually did call and speak to mu husband foe the first time since theyve had our car. We accept the fact that the business has supposedly ordered a new engine and await the call to inspect.  However,we have still not been given a time frame or commitment date in which the business is going to have the car complete. They also have not addressed a vehicle for us to drive while they take their time fixing the car. Again we are close to almost 6 months of sharing a car and it's no longer feasible due to jobs etc.
Regards,

The business contacted Revdex.com indicating they are going to take care of this matter.  Something let loose in the engine.  The tech that worked on it was ASE Master Tech.  The business is working with their supplier regarding the failure.  The business will resolve this matter...

ASAP and feels bad it has taken so long. He is going to contact the customer.

We determined the parts were faulty, not from the installation. However, this is where I have to see if any help can be done for our end from [redacted]. After our findings we searched for another engine with comparable mileage. We found and have purchased an engine with 42K on it that carries a 3 year, 36K warranty. This engine we are installing has over 110K Less miles than the engine currently in the car. I spoke with [redacted] today regarding this and we would like him and [redacted] to stop in and view this engine before we install it,. It is a very clean engine and the mileage is documented. Please feel free to contact me at anytime regarding this [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For my response please see attached word document. The Businesses response is the same song and dance we've heard for 6 months.
[redacted]June 21, 2015Revdex.com Complaint ID: [redacted]To Whom It May Concern: I do not accept the response of the business.  This business has had our car for almost 6 months.  Not one time has the business called us to give us a status of the vehicle.  We have to make the calls.  We have called for 5 months to be told “we’re working on it” or “it’s next on the list for us to get to”.  We have even been told they would pay a tech overtime on a Saturday to work on it and get back to us the following week.  That obviously never happened. They will never give us a date to expect the vehicle to be diagnosed or fixed.  There is always an excuse.  The businesses response of ASAP is opened ended and to them means never.  We have been blown off by this business in the hopes that we will just go away so they do not have to pay to fix the damages to our vehicle their mechanic and/or supplier caused.   They have left our family to share one vehicle to get two people back and forth to work.  They have caused us to have to incur rental charges when one party had to go out of town for whatever reason.  We want reimbursed all past rental charges we’ve had to incur and also want to be put into a rental vehicle until our car is completed and delivered to us. If the business does not want to give us a rental or have our vehicle repaired by July 1st, we will commence legal action.  At that time, I will ask for payment of loss of use for the past 6 months, and the cost of  the insurance and tags I have had to pay for on a vehicle that I have not been able to  drive and other damages. The unprofessionalism and disrespect is not warranted.  We have taken our vehicles to this business for several years, including [redacted].  That will no longer happen.  Sincerely,[redacted]

I just want my car back. I do not feel bad that Village Auto is getting no help paying for our engine. I received a message on July 17th from Steve that our vehicle was scheduled to begin repairs Monday July 20th and it would be a couple day job. My husband did call Village Auto the morning of July 23rd and asked for a price to replace the compressor while vehicle was apart. He was advised old compressor had already been put in new engine but he did ask them to price new one w/ installation. We never heard back Thursday or Friday with a price. Friday July 25th at 4:30pm my husband had to call to get the price where we were told $699.00. He then told mechanic to forget it, that was excessive. My husband called Monday July 27th for update and we were told hopefully the vehicle will be done Wednesday July 29th.
No response is needed. Once I have the vehicle in my possession, I will determine my next course of action.
