concerns.  Pursuant to the request of Mr. [redacted], our Central California Area Manager contacted him immediately upon receipt of this report and resolved the customer’s concerns raised with your office.  Les Schwab believes Mr. [redacted] is satisfied with the agreed upon resolution.  We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused the customer and sincerely thank him for his patience and willingness to bring these concerns to Les Schwab’s attention.

I have spoke to [redacted] on the balancing issue that he has filed the complaint on.  He has stated to myself that we have corrected the issue.

Review: This company has addressed tire balancing issues on 3 cars from my family, and every time we have had to take the vehicles back to have them re-done.

We are still having trouble with three of those cars regarding the balancing.

We have been back numerous times, and the last time [redacted] did not even test drive the car, and stated we would leave that up to me. Needless to say that car is still not balanced, and this is after brand new tires and two new rims.

Terrible service indeed.

Please get to the bottom of this.

Review: Les Schwab used fear to intimidate my wife to try and get her to purchase repairs that were not needed. My wife took our car into their shop late Friday afternoon with a grinding brake on the right front. We had a trip to Fresno scheduled for the next day and we wanted the brakes repaired. The counter man gave her a quote for $397.66 that included replacing the rotars and calipers. He said all of this was necessary. When asked about our trip to Fresno, he said the vehicle was safe to drive. He then informed my wife the parts were not available because the vehicle was so new (2013 Honda FIT). My wife was told to come back in Monday afternoon. I took the vehicle to another Les Schwab dealer in Tracy and had it evaluated Saturday morning. The only parts that needed replacing were the front brake pads. The technician in Tracy showed me the worn brake pad that was causing the grinding. It was down to the metal backing plate. This was a critical condition that needed repair in my opinion. The parts were readily available and the cost out the door was $174.65. The work was completed by 10:30 in the morning and we were on our way to Fresno. I feel the shop in Manteca put my wife and I at risk by advising us it would be ok to drive the vehicle to Fresno and they were unethical in how they presented what repairs needed to be performed.Desired Settlement: I would like a response from the regional management of Les Schwab about the level of service my wife received and what corrective action will be taken with the facility and personnel.
