Review: I am receiving notices from a collection agency since June *, 2014 for services to [redacted] dated March *, 2013. To date I received 5 collection notices from a collection agency since June 2014. I phoned the doctors office after each notice and asked to speak to the doctor but the office staff assured me they were handling the matter and no further notice would be sent. This is not the case. I kept receiving notices from the collection agency. The doctor refused to speak to me. What is infuriating is I am being sent the collection notices under false pretenses. I could not even see the doctor without paying upfront at the check-in desk cash or check so this $25 copay should have never gone to a collection agency in the first place. This is a terrible oversight with the doctors billing department and their failure to stop the harassment of the collection bombarding me with false claims.Desired Settlement: I believe my credit rating is compromised. I want the doctor to pay for a complete credit check of my status. If this has been compromised, I somehow need [redacted] to somehow write a letter to the agency to reverse my poor credit rating as a result.
