Review: I shipped an automobile from El Mirage ,Arizona to Gdynia, Poland contracting Lesniewski & Continental Shipping Group. During sea portion of shipment my vehicle cut fire and burned down. Experts from insurance found Lesniewski Shipping at fault. Lesniewski Shipping Group neglected shipping procedures and did not disconnected battery in my vehicle. I purchased insurance from Lesniewski Shipping to cover my vehicle during sea transport. After vehicle was discovered in Gdynia, Poland being burned Lesniewski Shipping failed to contact me at all. Once I found from other sources what happened I contacted Lesniewski Shipping Group requesting full insurance coverage refund and refund of shipping cost since Lesniewski Shipping Group negligence caused total loss of my vehicle. Since then Lesniewski Shipping Group did not pay out anything and avoids any contact with me.Desired Settlement: I expect full insurance coverage refund and refund of shipping cost from El Mirage, Arizona to Gdynia, Poland.

The insurance purchased in United States does not cover any damage during the sailing. Lesniewski & Continental Shipping may arrange the inland transport and the insurance that was purchased was only covering the vehicle during transport on land. This kind of insurance does not cover the vehicle when it’s on the ship. In order to have a marine insurance you have to purchase an additional service. In order to insure the vehicle during sail while it is on the ship the customer can purchase marine insurance from our company L&C which provides only this kind of insurance which [redacted] neglected to purchase even though we mention that option to him.

[redacted] did not purchase marine insurance, but our company Lesniewski & Continental Shipping Group offered recompense for purchased vehicle of declared value which is $1,300.00 and $1,000.00 for shipping.

Our Company offered [redacted] to pay him $4,500.00 for that vehicle, also we offered to take care of all expenses in port Gdynia, Poland and pick up the vehicle from terminal which [redacted] originally agreed to.

For refund claims [redacted], who is not the rightful owner of the vehicle, so Lesniewski & Continental Shipping Group does not obligated him any money.
