Buyer BEWARE!!!!! This place is horrible!!! I would give it a negative star if I could! Trust me don't bother. I put a deposit on my dress 10 months before my wedding, I bought it off the rack and I was assured there was plenty of time to alter it. I needed to build up the top and they were going to order material for me. I called 5 months before my wedding To start to alter the dress they refused and told me they wouldn't touch it until 3 months before. I was assured over and over that they had my material and there was plenty of time. Of course when I come in for my first fitting its the wrong material, so now they have to order something else. I come in for my second fitting the alterations were awful!! The dress didn't fit at all. So I insist that they fix it and I said I would come back in 2 weeks, the morning of my fitting I get a call that the seamstress isn't there and they have to cancel the fitting, not only that but she also had not done any of the work to to dress! There is no apology at all!!

I went in there and just took the dress, by the way the seamstress was right there of course so that was a lie. It is now 6 weeks before my wedding I have a dress that is half done and looks like crap, they are thieves for taking my money!!! I will now take this to a private seamstress and hope they can fix this mess. Thanks for nothing Lestan's you should be put out of business!!!

Review: On 03/**/2013, I ordered a matron of honor gown that came with a bolero style jacket. I told the manager [redacted], that I would prefer another style jacket and she showed me a jacket which was circular in the back and longer at the waistline. The jacket also had a stand up collar and 3/4 sleeves with slits on the sides and [redacted] said she could make the front panels of the jacket cover and lay over the chest area. [redacted] also told me she could make the thin straps on the gown 2 inches and she would add a front modest panel for me. I was very happy with what she said she would do. I told [redacted] the wedding was 09/**/2013 and she said I had more than enough time and my gown would be on site in the beginning of July. The total amount for the gown was $364.74, which included the $75.00 for the different style jacket which I was told was style # [redacted]. On the 03/** I left a 50% deposit. First fitting was not until 08/**, jacket was still bolero style and I had to pay the balance of the gown cash only. Second fitting was 08/**, jacket was still bolero style. Third fitting was 08/**, jacket was still bolero style. I complained about the jacket all three fittings and I was assured when I came for my forth and final fitting the jacket would be made to my liking. On my final fitting 09/**, they did widen the shoulder straps and added a front modesty panel. They did some work on the jacket the sleeves were 3/4 lenght, the collar was stand up, but to my horror the jacket was still bolero style! when I asked what happened I was told they ran out of material and could not do anything else for me, plus they charged me an additional $20, for the modesty panel. Since the wedding was in three days, I had no choice, but to accept the gown. The sales rep told me to call [redacted] the next day (09/**) and maybe she could help me. I did call on the [redacted] and was told [redacted] was not in.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $75.00, which is what I paid for the different jacket style # [redacted]

I am writing in reference to the aforementioned Complaint No.

[redacted] came into Lestan Fashion Headquarters on March [redacted], 2013 with three other women {two other bridesmaids and the bride)to purchase and be measured for a bridesmaids gown for a wedding she was going to [be a part of. The bridesmaids, including [redacted] also wanted to purchase an additional

garment--a bolero jacket, which was an additional $75.00 each. As a part of the agreement that was made, which is indicated on the receipt that [redacted] signed, the jacket to be ordered was style number [redacted]and the on change to the jacket that Lestans Fashion Headquarters was responsible for was to make the front bigger to dose up the jacket a little, to make [redacted] more comfortable as she mentioned. Thus, Lestan Fashion Headquarters did everything promised as stated on the receipt which was signed by [redacted] without any conflict.

In regards to [redacted]'s Desired Settlement, a refund will not be given because as mentioned, the jacket ordered was the jacket received and paid for. The

gown ordered, as [redacted] I ncorrectly stated, did not come with a jacket. [redacted] ordered the same bolero jacket as the other bridesmaids who ordered with her to ensure uniformity for the wedding. The only difference was that, as mentioned, Lestan Fashion Headquarters made an agreement to make the front of her jacket bigger so that she wouldn't feel "exposed,"as she was concerned about.

Attached is a copy of the signed receipt as well as a copy of the picture of the jacket that [redacted] ordered and received.

Review: I went to Lestan’s Bridal in Brooklyn, NY on February *, 2014 with 4 other ladies to try on bridesmaids dresses for a September [redacted] wedding. We all picked out a different style Bill Levkoff dresses and asked [redacted] to order them in the color eggplant and satin material. I asked the sales person to order me a size 10 dress because the one in the store fit me perfectly.

Sometime in middle of August, 4 out of the 5 dresses came in. Mine wasn’t in yet. The girls had a seamstress from Lestan’s take measurements the end of August. On September [redacted] when the girls went back to the store to pick up the dresses. 3 out of the 4 dresses were all altered incorrectly. Either the hem was a different color then the dress, the sleeve was taken in to tightly, and the chest was taking in too much resulting in back cleavage. The dresses all had to be fixed that day while everyone waited around. On September [redacted] my dress was still not in but they promised that it would be in soon. They said it was on the Tuesday, September [redacted] truck (At this point its 1-2 weeks before the wedding, I wasn’t worried because the dress I tried on was a size 10 and it fit me perfectly so it didn’t need it to be taken in.)

My dress that I ordered supposedly came in on Friday, September [redacted], one week before the wedding. The bride picked it up for me since she was picking up her wedding dress. When I first looked at the dress I thought to myself this is the wrong dress. The dress I had in my hand was a sweetheart chest and it had straps on the top. I picked out a strapless straight across the top dress. I would never pick out the dress they gave me because I can’t pull a dress like that off, I don’t have the bust line for that. But I didn’t think anything of it. When I got it home and tried it on it was tremendous. I looked at the size and noticed that the label look liked it was sewn on by an amateur. The label is white but it was sewn on with purple thread and it was jagged. It seems as though they took a label off a real Bill Levkoff dress and sewed it into this one because the dress I originally wanted never came in.

When I got home I looked on my original receipt and notice that the sales clerk never wrote a style number on the receipt but put the words “[redacted]”, size 10 dress.

I called Lestans on Monday 9/** and left a message for them to call me back. I never heard from them and then on Tuesday, morning I spoke to a salesperson [redacted] and told her that I think I have the wrong dress and the label looked wrong and that there was some kind of mistake. I told her I measured the width of the chest and it was a size 40 and my chest size is a 36. [redacted] said she would relay the message to [redacted] who ordered the dress.

I didn’t hear from [redacted] until Tuesday night at 6PM 5 days before the wedding. I explained to [redacted] that there was some type of mistake that the dress was 3-4 sizes too big and the label or the dress didn’t even seem like it was from the Designer. I also told her that my label said it’s 100% Polyester Shell and 100% Acetate Lining, and all the other bridesmaids dress from Bill Levkoff were 100% Polyester Shell 100% Polyester Lining. [redacted] tried to tell me that Bill Levkoff has 2 different types of Satin. (If they told us this back in February we would have never have ordered it in the first place. Why would we want two different types of satin. The point was everyone was going to have different style Bill Levkoff EggPlant Stain Dress) The threads on the chest and label are a different color then everywhere else. It doesn’t even match. The inside panels of the dress are white and the rest of the dress is eggplant. Then [redacted] told me that she remember that I ordered the Bill Levkoff style# 690 dress and she didn’t really look at the dress and was just happy that it came in.

They never addressed the issue that I had a faked dress but told me that they can fix the dress and I should come in on Sunday. I told them that the wedding was Saturday 9/**. Then [redacted] told me to come in Thursday night and she would fix the dress. This was extremely scary because when they had so much time to alter the other brides maids dresses and they couldn’t even do those right and I had 2 days before the wedding.

When I looked up the dress style number #690 it was the strapless straight across the chest that I originally had tried on. I found out that the particular dress I wanted was discontinued on 1/**/2014. We went and tried on and ordered the dress in February. They never called me to tell me the dress was discontinued.

Instead they tried to pass off a dress that is clearly not even a Bill Levkoff because the original dress never came in. The original dress was discontinued on 1/**/2014 and by the time they realized it too much time had passed. So instead of being honest with me they took a different dress and sewed the Bill Levkoff Labels into them and waited to the last minute a week before the wedding to tell me my dress came in. The reviews on [redacted], and yellow pages are horrible and have the same tone “this place is dishonest, will give you the run around, and will deliver the wrong dress” Clearly this place has fraudulent business practices.

I called [redacted] on Thursday after I matched the dress to the other bridesmaids and clearly it didn’t match in color or fabric to tell her I wanted my money back and she said that she would need to get approval and that she needed to see the dress. She never once said I would get a refund. At this point I have had such a horrible experience with this place that I need someone else to intervene to get my money.

I am requesting a refund in the amount of $210.68. I paid Bill Levkoff Designer prices for a knock off dress that was already altered for someone else.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund in the amount of $210.68. I paid $100 Cash deposit and 110.68 on my credit card. I want a full refund.
