I have met with Mr Goodermote in regard to Ms [redacted] complaint & here is our response.Revdex.com Complaint ID# [redacted] RE: [redacted] This Client was in contact with our office on several occasions on or around the Income Tax deadline, which was originally April 17, 2018.? As I am sure most people are aware- the IRS website crashed on April 17th, causing the Federal government to extend the deadline hours- making the "new" deadline April 18th, 2018.? This client was assured that her taxes would be filed on time & they wereHer taxes were filed & accepted by the Federal Government as well as the States of VT & NY on April 18th, 2018.In June 2018, when we received this complaint from your office, I checked the IRS website, where they confirmed that this client's refund check was mailed to her in early May.We provided this client with the services that she requested & yet, she has not mailed or delivered payment or scheduled pick up (or mailing) of her tax documents.? To my knowledge, our office has not received any communication from this client since April 18th, when Mr Goodermote contacted her to confirm that her taxes were successfully submitted.?
