Review: After putting a $500.00 down payment on a lawn tractor at his place of business, I discovered I was not able to get the loan I needed to purchase the product. I never took possession of the equipment. The receipt he gave me for the down payment did not indicate the down payment was non-refundable. There was no conversation regarding the down payment being non-refundable. When I asked him to return the down payment, I informed him I was unable to get the loan I needed. He then told me his "down payment return policy" was for "Store Credit" only. After pleading with him to return my money, he flatly refused to do so. I feel I am entitled to a full refund of my money.Desired Settlement: I would like the full amount of the $500.00 down payment refunded to me.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

The business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] contacted me in regards to a settlement. The original amount of the money owed to me was $500.00. I accepted their proposal of returning only $400.00 to me to close out this complaint. I was reluctant to do this, but decided it was an acceptable option. I recieved your other e-mails on 11/20 and 12/5. I waited for their response and subsequently their settlement check to clear before I contacted you. I am grateful for the Revdex.com's participation in this matter. Your performance helping me take care of this problem has been superior in every way. Thank you very much.
