Regardless of the delay, it also took several emails and this complaint to get the company to stop deleting my items. There were three items that were continuously deleted every time I posted it. None of these items or the second account was created until several days AFTER the request to delete the first account. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond to your concerns.We confirm that we received an inquiry from *** *** via the appShe submitted an inquiry via the letgo app under the subject “Edit or Delete Profile.” Because of the high volume of inquiries we receive, various automated
responses are sent to users from our customer service management systemIn this case, the system sent *** *** an automated response (of which we can submit a copy upon request) asking her to confirm her request to delete the account This is a common practice in the industry since frequently users submit requests under this subject that can be solved by editing a profile or making other changes to the accountHad *** *** replied to that email confirming her desire to delete the account, letgo would have promptly deleted her account. In this case, however, *** *** did not respond to that email and her customer service ticket was closed automatically after four days without further action on our part Upon investigating this matter, and since *** *** has now confirmed (through the NY Revdex.com) that she wishes to delete her account, we have proceded to delete her user account with letgo She should no longer receive emails or communications from the app or our other users.We hope this resolves *** ***’ concerns and we regret any inconvenience this may have caused
