I paid capitol-tec $97.20 for annual inspection for carpenter ants. They gave me two dates May 10 and 11th. I waited both times with no show. Next day said I want my money back with no resolve. I paid with a check, made several attempts to call owner and he refuses to call me or refund my money. I do not want to do business anymore with this company. I have been a loyal customer for 7 years it is not my fault your guys did not show up twice as I sat here waiting. They apologized all over the place but I just want my money back.

We are responding to the complaint from ***, ID # ***.

*** has been a valuable customer of ours for the last seven years. She wanted to schedule an appointment for her yearly termite inspection and wanted us to come out at a specific time, only providing us with an hour time frame. Because of her times, we were not able to accomodate her, which upset her.

In the service business, it is hard to pin point an exact time. We tried to accomodate her on other dates, specifically on May 18th where there was no answer at the door, and on May 22nd, in which she refused service at the door.

She called the office very irrate demanding her money back. We tried to appease her and offered a $50.00 credit towards her termite guarantee for 2018, expiring on 6/3/18, but she denied that also.

Please understand our sincere concern in this matter. We have tried to please her and truly apologize for any inconveniences.

This is why I started this complaint. First of all it wasn't an hourly time frame. On Wednesday May 11, my day off, I took the time frame of 2 to 6 pm.When no one showed up, I called the office and they said they were sorry and could we come out the next day? I said yes with the same time frame 2 to 6 pm. Again, no one showed up. When I called they said that they couldn't get in touch with the driver and had no explanation. At this juncture I wanted my money back. I called the office on Friday May 12 and spoke with Nicole who said she would tell the owner. I kept calling and calling to get some resolution. The owner would not call me or talk to me about this matter. I told Nicole I do not want to do business any more with this company and I just want my money back. Second of all, the dates of May 18 and May 22 are totally made up and that I refused to answer the door is false. I kept calling the office just getting the response that Raymond isn't here and he would have to handle the refund since I wrote a check. I have not heard one word from Raymond, the owner, and this is what prompted me to file a complaint with the Revdex.com because this company is as unprofessional as it gets. All I want is my $97.20 back and to move on from this matter. Thank you.

I inherited Lethal Pest Solutions when Nationwide Exterminating sold their company to them. I was a customer of Nationwide for over 20 years and had excellent service with quarterly treatments all of that time. Lethal Pest Solutions is not even close to the quality of Nationwide in either service or customer service, ESPECIALLY CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called for a large fly problem that began 6 weeks after my last quarterly treatment by Lethal. They sent a technician, Chris, who entered my home with muddy sneakers and dropped mud all over my foyer. I gave him shoe covers to wear. He was confrontational, argumentative and unable to help me with my fly problem. He would turn in the fly sample that I saved for him at the end of the day after he did all of his other jobs. Then, "Chuck" would look at the fly tomorrow and call me sometime. In the meantime, I was told NOT to spray the flies and just live with them until they got back to me! When I tried to reach Joseph E. C the owner/president, he was unavailable and employees refused to give him the message that I needed him to call me. His "daughter Sue", was even more confrontational, talked over me, very arrogant and obviously not interested nor cared about my dissatisfaction with the technician and their service. She told me that I was "being unreasonable" because I found it disturbing that the "manager Chuck" felt that his lunch was a higher priority than customer satisfaction. My problem with the flies, nor my customer service issues have been addressed by this company. I find their poor quality service, their lack of customer service and their poor attitude to be very distasteful and unacceptable. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone I know!

I work as a inspector of basement water problems. I went into a building that must have been infested with bed bugs. my company paid $600 to have my problem solved. I told the tech he had to do my home and my car. as the trouble reoccured he told it was his fault as he forgot to do the car. unaware of this I thought my troubles were over. far from it in fact as his omission to do what my company hired him for lead to a re-infection in my home

June 16, 2017Concerning the $10.00 charge for chemical, which I do not use over and over again, for Bed Bug treatment, as he will use a $50.00 sale sign on a property over and over again and charge $9000.00 for a house that sold for $150,000.

*** never mentioned his car being treated until after 5 weeks, when he or another person reinfested his house, and the technician who rendered the treatment and the office were not aware of any request for treatment to his car.

Capitol-Tec. agreed at that time to retreat the house and car at a discounted cost of $350.00, in which *** refused because he did not want to pay and wanted to have his company that he was working for to pay for the treatment, as they did for the first service.

Now at this late date, the charge will be the same price that was paid on April 5, 2017, which is $550.00. Naturally, the infestation has become much more severe. Capitol-Tec.'s prices and services are very fair, as *** is well educated on. By his own admission, *** is working in a situation where he should strip his clothing off after inspections and wash his clothing in hot water which will kill any Bed Bugs. I might add that Bed Bugs could not live in a closed car because of the extreme heat. Heat and freezing is another method used for extermination of Bed Bugs and other pest.
