The whole and true story!
First issue is to address my pick-up and delivery price of $89.00 “$89 that’s my standard price to everyone”.  If others would do it for $20.00 (...

which is incredibly cheap and hard to believe ) why not have them do it ([redacted] asked me to do it not [redacted])?  I also told “[redacted]” don’t worry about it I would do it for free, as well I would store [redacted]’s power chair while she was getting her new housing together.  But he insisted he would pay it when he got back from his vacation but to date has not. In his note to you he says he never denied me payment but he has actually never paid me. In addition to that I repaired [redacted]’s scooter that was barely salvageable. I gave [redacted] a quote for the repair prior to doing anything, he discussed it with [redacted] and decided to wait. I then did it gratis so [redacted] had something to ride around in till they decided on a new scooter. I had no idea “[redacted]” went to a funeral after he returned from his vacation. All I know is that I was never paid and still have not been paid, but I was OK with that until I saw this outragious letter!
·  Pickup and delivery of 1 scooter and 1 power chair
· Storage of that chair for over 2 months
I could go on and on with this but I won’t, let’s get down to the purchase of the new scooter. Yes, [redacted] and I spoke about getting [redacted] a new chair, I quoted him and he responded that “I needed to discuss it with [redacted]”. I never heard back from them until I get a call from [redacted]’s Granddaughter and she was looking for [redacted]’s Wheelchair that I had stored in my warehouse, apparently they were not sure where it was.  I called her back and she then asked me to call her Grandmother ([redacted]) and let her know I have the chair, which I did.  [redacted] thanked me for everything and asked me if I would ship [redacted]’s scooter to her brother in Colorado ([redacted], [redacted]’s son had just passed away). I said “no problem [redacted] but I need the power supply and a check for $480 to ship it to Colorado”. [redacted] asked me “if I could come by the hotel she was staying at to pick up both items, so I did. (No charge for the pickup)This ended up being a gift to [redacted]’s brother.  Originally [redacted] was working on a replacement for [redacted]’s old scooter when he was alive.[redacted] already knew the condition of [redacted]’s scooter. I did inform her that “I had taken things that were broken off,  it needs new batteries and a host of other things”.  She asked me “how much a new one would cost” and I quoted her with a better than fair trade-in price ($1000) for [redacted]’s damaged scooter on an as is basis.  The scooter he had previously paid $2,7000 for brand new. She asked me “if that was top of the line” I responded, “No the Montana Magnific is the top of the line.  The scooter that your son [redacted] tried at or first meeting but you guys couldn’t afford it at the time .” And of course she remembered this transaction.  She then said “that’s the one I want for my brother”!  (That scooter has a list price of $5990.00 which she was aware of this.   I gave her that same trade in price I was giving her for [redacted]’s old scooter of $1, 000.00. They paid $2,700.00 originally for the Esteem. It is now a wrecker that is being used for spare parts, what a mess. So my price to [redacted] was “$4990.00 vs. the $5990.00” list price for That Montana Magnific.  We don’t ordinarily discount but I did because see was a repeat customer and a sweet lady. As you see on the degrading document sent to you by [redacted], I offered to help her by discounting even further with taxes and freight and she would have no part of that.   For everyone’s information My Prices are published on the internet and I send pricing to potential clients prior to my demonstrations.  I am a Person that sells products honestly and support my customers better than anyone in the industry and I can prove that. The person that bought and the person that is using the product have never made a complaint of any kind or had any issue I am aware. Nevertheless for the record, I will state my belief in the products I sell. I don’t believe that there are better scooters then ours on the market and we are not the most expensive.  The parent company is the manufacturer in the way Apple manufactures their own products.  I question what makes [redacted] an expert on mobility scooters, is it price difference.  Find a scooter with the following attributes: Rare Earth Motor 3 horse power, Magnesium chassis, 50/50 technology “only scooter in the industry with this patient technology, 3 Top of the line Panasonics EV extended life batteries, air filed tires top of the line, 4 wheel independent suspension, leather handle bars, weight capacity around 400 lbs,  light weighs 190 lbs,  FDA tested 30miles per charge, this is the world’s best product! Just so we are all on the same page [redacted] is my customer and she will let you know about her own competence , you should speak with her. My customers are all about the same age ranging from 75 to the late 90’s not institutionalized but capable just like [redacted]. I have done nothing wrong and neither has my company. By the way I just work for this company I don’t own it!
Let’s move on:So again [redacted] said I charged her $6,400.00 plus $480.00 totaling $6880.00.  Please have him show you proof of this payment amount. He will not be able to justify is allegations towards me.   I just need to say that [redacted] is not being honest with you, invoice amount was $5800.00 that included tax and freight, the checks and the invoice will justify that. (I can supply you with a copy of the invoice) Lastly [redacted] or the purchaser or the user never asked me for a refund or complained of the suitability of the product for the use intended or mentioned any issue relating to performance or quality. He called me yesterday and asked me to deliver [redacted] her chair to her new location and that he would pay me in advance.    What is he thinking?  I asked him to have [redacted] call me and his statement to me was “why would I do that last time she called you she spent $6000”!   In line with my service motto I will take her scooter to her tomorrow and again NO Charge!!!!
FYI: I do my best I represent Letrix Power USA I have been working with [redacted] and [redacted] for quite a while before knowing “[redacted]”.  [redacted] has had a stroke prior to our first meeting and couldn’t get around very well.  [redacted] called me and requested an information package and shortly after wanted a free demonstration of our Mobility Scooters and I obliged.  After the demo [redacted] decided he wanted the scooter so they went with the deal. The retail price on that scooter was $3,990.  I put together a deal for them at $2,700 dollars with free delivery.  The day after they got the scooter they lost the two keys I had to replace the entire lock free of charge (not under warranty).  [redacted] would get lost and would forget from time to time what he did with his scooter. I would patrol the area and find it free of charge (several times).  He cut the wires on the battery cable trying to fix something that didn’t need fixing I replaced it free of charge (none warranty).
[redacted] seem to a nice but interesting character,. I am not sure what his standing or  interest is in this matter and I am noyt even sure what it is he is requesting. It seems to me he is trying to renegotiate the deal after the fact and is using fictitious amounts to justify something. Not sure exactly

Review: Warranty not honored and return not accepted on defective disability scooter.Desired Settlement: Total refund and pickup of defective disability scooter.

Review: I represent a 93 year old senior citizen who has enlisted my help with some of her financial dealings. For her I was negotiating the purchase of a scooter with ** from Letrix Power. [redacted]ad previously sold her a scooter for an amount much higher than the competition. ** charges $89 for a pick up or drop off of a scooter while other companies charge only $20. I have never denied ** payment when we have asked him for services. So the Senior that I help was looking for a scooter for her son. ** and I agreed upon the correct scooter for him and agreed upon a price. Unfortunately, her son passed away. This happened before we bought the scooter. During the next week I helped her make funeral arrangements and then I was out of town for a week. I owed, on behalf of the person I was helping, Ed some money and assured him that I would settle up with him soon upon my return. He and I had many conversations and he was very comfortable with this arrangement. While I was gone, he took advantage of the person I am helping and sold her a scooter for $6,400 plus $480 shipping. When I returned I asked him why he had done this without talking with me and he replied, "I didn't know you were out of town nor did I think about it!" It was very convenient of him to forget so that he could get this sale while I wasn't looking. When asking why he oversold and overcharged a 93 year old lady, he replied, "she insisted on paying tax of $400 and freight of $485." So, while he states he was willing to cover the tax and the freight, he allowed her to pay for them and worded in a way that made her feel it was her duty, not a negotiating discount to her. I seriously fear that Ed and Letrix Power takes advantage of many seniors living in and around Laguna Woods, CA. I hope this complaint helps warn you of what you're getting into with the business. Shop around!!!!! Very comparable scooters are available for $3800 tops! Don't trust Letrix Power or [redacted]Desired Settlement: I don't feel this purchase should have been made in the first place. However, not wanting to return the scooter from out of state, I only request that Letrix Power refund the $885 that he wasn't going to charge for delivery and tax. It is unfortunate that the scooter was sold at the exorbitant price and more refund is deserved but I am trying to show in "good faith" that I am reasonable and not seeking to be unfair as Letrix has been to us.
