Review: I have called this companies corporate office 3 times and I am yet to receive a call back and the guy I called to complain about has talked nasty to me and Im tired of giving my money to this worthless company and not seeing and customer service out of it.Desired Settlement: I want my situation solved its been on going for a couple years and Im tired of getting ignored.

Review: A group of three other individuals and I were invited to play a soccer game at the San Diego Let's Play Indoor Soccer. When we arrived and signed up to get our card to play we were informed that due to a technicality we would not be allowed to play on that day. Although I personally was a little disappointed because my husband and I travelled over an hour to play, I understand that rules are rules and accepted the fact that we would not be able to play. But while we still at the counter the gentleman who was helping us with the application suggested that maybe we could play if our team did not mind forfitting the game if we won. This seemed like a positive solution that would be a win-win for everybody because the team was short 3+ players and we just wanted to play . As he was explaining this to us a lady with blonde hair, who was sitting in an adjoined office, shouted out with a negative tone and a negative attitude that forfitting was not an option. One of the men in our group of four immediately left to play soccer elsewhere. My husband, the other gentleman and myself went to observe the game and support our team members. During half time the players, my husband and the other gentlemen were talking in the "dug out" area. The game resumed and the same blonde lady came to relieve the other lady that was at the switch board that controlled the points for the game. She saw my husband and the other gentleman watching the game from the “dug out” area and asked each one if they had a card. When they answered, "no", she snapped her fingers and told them to "get out". The gentleman stepped back and viewed the game from a distance. I was standing nearby next to some picnic tables and witnessed this happen and heard clearly what the blonde lady said. After pondering this situation during the second half of the game, I thought that this lady should not have spoken to the gentlemen in this manner. It was rude because they were unaware of a rule that the spectators could not stand in the “dug out” area and would have gladly moved with a simple informing of this rule. As we were leaving I asked the blonde lady why she was so rude. She quickly snapped back that she never said anything to me. I explained that it was rude the way she spoke to my husband and the other gentleman. Before I could finish she interrupted saying that the policy is that no one can be in that area. I tried to explain to her that we were new and that we did not know the rule. I understand the rules but she did not have to be so rude. She responded by saying, “If you are looking for trouble, you can just leave.” I told her we were not looking for trouble, if anything, I was looking for an apology. I just wanted to bring this to her attention and let her know that was not appropriate customer service on their behalf. She did not listen to what I had to say instead she kept on repeating “If you are looking for trouble, you can just leave,” until she came out of her office. At this point, I had no idea what she wanted to do and feared she wanted to fight physically. When she was out of the office she said she would escort us out. I told her that wasn’t necessary and one of the female soccer players that had invited us tried to reason with this lady explaining that we did not want trouble but it was a customer service issue. The blonde lady ignored her and walked us to the entrance. The female player asked who the manager was or if we could talk to whoever is in charge. The blonde lady said it didn’t matter and did not give us any information about who to contact. After some investigation I learned that the managers name is either [redacted] or [redacted] and I believe she is the blonde lady.Desired Settlement: My hope is that this lady would apologize for her rude behavior and understand that it is not in her best interest to behave rudely towards the customers.

Review: On Feb 16 2014 at aprox. 1930 I was approached by A woman named [redacted] explaining that I could not have my dog within their facility. I then explained that my dog is a Service animal and helps me with my PTSD. She said that I was still not welcome and I had to leave. She asked me for my paperwork for my animal (as it is against the law to ask for certification) BYLAW: A public entity or a public accommodation shall not ask about the nature of extent of a person's disability, but may make two inquiries to determine whether an animal qualifies as a service animal. [They] may ask if the animal is required because of a disability and what work or task the animal has been trained to perform.I then said I will not leave, I am allowed to have my service animal in any establishment, and it is against the law for you to kick me out. She said thats fine I'll get my manager. [redacted] then approached me and said "sorry you can't have your dog within this facility, service animal or not. you need to leave" I calmly refused to leave he said fine and stopped the game until I left. I of course got up so the guys can finish their game. From the walk from one field to the exit, there were some profane words that came from my mouth, and he said I was then no longer welcome at the facility because of my language only to get away from the fact that he was really kicking my service dog and I off the premises. I then got tired of waiting for the police to arrive to try and rectify the situation so I went back in and showed them my paper work signed by a LT at MCRD of a mental health facility that states his recommendation and reasoning for my service animal, and with [redacted]'s smug tone he said it is only a recommendation not an authorization. He didn't even want to resolve the situation nor had any empathy for my well being nor did he want to work with me for the night until I was able to get the national registration for my service animal that is left at home. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO DENY MY SERVICE DOGDesired Settlement: I just want to enjoy my right to have my dog at any public establishment to include San Diego Indoor Soccer, and be contacted by the management and apologized for their wrong doing!

Review: The Manager was super rude ([redacted]) and she walked away from me, when I was trying to fix an issue.

I registered 3 teams from U12 to U8, first of all this place didn’t provide all the necessary information when enrolling my kids. They took all the application, took their picture and when we were about the play our first game I was advised that one of my player was too old to play in my U12 team after the fact that he was already enrolled. One of the staff gave me the cut off age list that same day.

I’m sure they didn’t realized what my kid went through, being excited to play his first game in a new league and we even had to wait for over six months to play. He was embarrassed, and super sad, as all this was told in front of parents, players, and to make matter worse they gave my other two teams a bye game because they didn’t have the fields ready.Desired Settlement: I would like a letter of apology to my 12 year old kid and all three teams.

To Whom It May Concern:

I was present during most, if not all, dealings with Mr. [redacted].

His statements in his complaint are completely untrue, and I'd like the truth to be presented.

The age ranges and cut off dates for players in the age groups he signed up teams for were verbally given to him on multiple occasions. Not only were they expressed at the time of registering, but also the day before his first games. He was then given a follow up phone call as well as a follow up email stating what the cut off dates for his particular ages were.

When he showed up for first games, he tried to sneak over age players into his team. When these were caught, he was confronted.

I was present when he talked down to the manager by demeaning and belittling her. She expressed that she would walk away if he continued to talk that way to her, and she did once his derogatory language did not stop.

Mr. [redacted] was then handled by me; [redacted].

I approached him with a few options; play by the rules and exclude your overage players, play this game without the overage players and get a prorated refund, or drop out altogether and get a full refund. I also gave him a written, hard copy of the age brackets so we would not have to deal with this situation again. It was also made clear to him that his behavior is not acceptable at our facility.

He initially chose to play, but changed his mind afterwards. Normally, a team would have to stick with their original decision, but based on Mr. [redacted]'s actions, we decided to refund all of his money sans the 1 game he played.

We pride ourselves on doing the right thing at San Diego Indoor Soccer even if it costs us a few teams. In this instance, we have done everything in our power to uphold the rules recognized by all players and coaches. We even went a little beyond for this gentleman by issuing him a refund after he had already agreed to stay in our leagues. It may have cost us 3 teams, but the decision upholds the rules of our business as well as our high standards.

Mr. [redacted] was repeatedly given the age group ranges, and these ranges are the same recognized by US Youth Soccer which encompasses almost all organized youth soccer here in the United States.

Mr. [redacted]'s actions were terribly disrespectful to the facility, the other 90+ youth teams that play here, his own 3 teams' players, and especially the manager of SD Indoor Soccer; [redacted].

Thank you for your time regarding this matter.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I did review let’s play soccer’s response, and it's unacceptable!

I’m not sure who completed that first statement of this letter, but there was a young lady on the first day of the game and she didn’t have a clue of the situation.

To clarify I never received a verbal notification of any cutoff age, I confirmed that my team was U12 with new associate that was helping me through this process “age 12 and under” and it was never advised of the cutoff date in writing; however Mr. [redacted] did provided me the list of cutoff ages on the first day of the game after all the problems. I registered [redacted] 12 year old [redacted], 2001 his application was accepted and a picture was taken (Check your records), but yet on the first game he was deprived of his game.

The allegations that Mr. [redacted] states on this letter are also false, Mr. [redacted] did provided options but not resolutions to my problem, I ask him if my team can be moved up another level and he say No. He told me I could play that game, and if I wanted to change my mind they would prorated the first game and refund me the rest, but he never told me that if I played and had to stay. Mr. [redacted] was outside most of time while I was trying to speak with the manager, and I will not lower myself by going into details about this organization and manager being disrespectful and rude, because there was only one person that I came across that was actually nice.

Once the first game was complete I did talk it over with the team and parents to determine, what would be best for the team and how we were treated, the parents and team came to a unanimous decision, to remove all three teams and take them somewhere that they can play, learn and be kids. If this league thinks I was disrespectful they may want to see what type of reviews the get online on Yulp and other sites, what a disappoint to the community and the player they represent, and maybe I’m the only one that actually stands up for what’s right, and lunched this complaint.

Shame on you Lets play soccer!

Regards,

To Whom It May Concern:

We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, and this is what we have done.

When there was an issue, not only did we do everything in our power to inform the coach of the issues, we also offered and gave him a refund; which was not necessary per our rules.

What else would you like us to do?
