injection itself, which requires skill. It is above my control, that insurance carrier did not pay for it.It does not mean, that it was not billed properly or not performed.Regarding ordering [redacted] test, that in my professional opinion is a part of physical exam, due to the fact, that a significant amount of my patients show deficiency of [redacted],which if not diagnosed and treated properly, can lead to avoidable pathological medical conditions.Again,it is beyond my control why insurance carrier did not pay for the [redacted] as well. The statement by a compliant, that my office staff is unhelpful,is not true as well, since my medical assistant approached me with the concerns, that the patient expressed and were explained to him.I believe, that the fact, that the services that were provided were medically necessary, but were not paid by his insurance carrier and should be treated as such.

Review: I went to Dr. Lev Aminov at [redacted] for the first time on January [redacted] 2015. My doctor moved out of state and this doctor was in my network so I chose to use him for a yearly physical. He saw me for 5 minutes and asked me if I wanted "regular" blood work done, I agreed and also asked him to perform a ** exam for some documentation I needed filled in order to volunteer and work with children. When Dr. Lev Aminov filled a claim with my insurance he billed them for a service he did not perform for $20.43. He also asked for blood exams ([redacted]) that were outside of my coverage and left me footing the bill of $165.00. He never specified what blood work was normal or that this specific blood exam of [redacted] would cost me out of pocket. His staff is unhelpful and when I have called my insurer to liaise with the doctor to explain charges he is unwilling and uncooperative in speaking with them.Something needs to be done since he mainly sees the elderly who pay out of pocket or with limited insurance. He did not specify with me any blood work that would be done outside of "regular" and now I need to pay the bill.Desired Settlement: I would like these charges refunded since this doctor billed my insurance a $20.43 charge for a service he did not provide and for $165.00 for a blood exam that was not approved by me.
