Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/07/23) */ The address provided by Ms [redacted] on her Revdex.com complaint form in reference to this issue is XXXXX [redacted] ***, [redacted] XXXXX, which happens to be the same address provided by Ms [redacted] at the time of sale and the same address all correspondence from The KEY Finance and related legal documents were mailed in reference to the repossession and court proceedingsOn December 9, 2014, in accordance with O.S§ 2004, a private process service attempted to serve the summons and/or petition using Ms [redacted] 's last known address, but were unable to effect service by personal service; in accordance with O.S2004(C) (3), summons on Ms [redacted] was served via publication in The Journal Records, because with due diligence service could not be made by any other methodThe history of locating and serving Ms [redacted] are a matter of public record and The KEY Finance invites her to research the chain of events leading up to the default judgement at her own convenience

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I contacted the dealership in December 2016 regarding the repairs, I have given the information on the repair dealership to the service manager. I have provided their name and information more than once. The repair facility was able to get the repairs covered under a warranty provided from the conversion department with the CNG repairs. The repair shop was able to get all parts covered expect for cost of Fuel which I personally covered. The payments were to be deterred until truck was repaired as the Key did not pay for rental coverage. I paid for a rental vehicle out of pocket from December 26th until February 12th, when my truck was able to be picked up. This was the agreement with The Key. I paid the rental coverage and I would have no payments due until truck was repaired. The Key would have no cost as the payments where to be moved to back of the loan and not paid on my behalf, therefore I am still paying the cost of payments and the rental coverage at over $200 a week. All I am asking is that the payments be moved as agreed upon so that my loan is back to current. I made the payment which came due on February 13th with no issue as I had my truck back. The title was sent to the DMV over a month late. I spoke to the title department on more than once occasion and was repeatedly told they was behind. This is the 2nd vehicle bought from the Key and both titles where completed over a month late causing late fees to myself. The title department stated they would pay half the late fees due to their late processing. They also told me they would pay any tickets I received from driving on expired paper plates. Sincerely, [redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2016/01/08) */
While The KEY Finance understands Mr***'s frustration, per his signed contract, he was to provide records of timely oil changesThe only receipt produced by Mr*** was a year old; the contract states: "At all times under the applicable
warranty term, Buyer must have substantially and timely completed (at Buyer's sole expense) the factory required and recommended maintenance/services on the Vehicle and provide reasonable documentation of same to SellerThe failure to do so shall void the limited warranty, thereby releasing Seller of all warranty obligationsBuyer is not required to have factory required or recommended maintenance performed by the Seller." In this instance, Service found the oil level on the unit low and full of sludge; as Mr*** was unable to provide timely receipts of maintenance, his warranty was voidedWe invite Mr*** to contact a representative of The KEY so that a mutual resolution can be met

Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2016/01/13) */
Again, per Mr***'s signed contract, once he provides the required documentation, the Service department can determine the next stepThe KEY Finance invites Mr*** to contact a representative of The KEY, with the required documentation at hand, so that a resolution may be reached

Mrs*** did execute a document in person for the inquiry on her credit bureau to obtain credit for an Automobile through The KEYWe tried contacting the credit bureau to request the removal of the inquiryHowever, the bureau stated that Mrs*** would need to file a dispute to
initiate the removal of the inquiryIf Mrs*** would process the dispute that would initiate the processShould Mrs*** have any questions she may call ###-###-####

Our title department spoke with Mr*** on Friday February 3rd regarding the customers titleWe are working diligently to get Mr***'s title to him and we will be mailing him his title by February 17th We apologize for the delay and look forward to getting the

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as it is removed since I did not consent for a hard pull of my credit reportI will be contacting them on 2/24/to start the process.
Sincerely,

The KEY Finance understands Ms***'s concern and appreciates the opportunity to resolve any issues she may have concerning her interest rate We invite Ms*** to review page one of her signed contract, in which the Finance Charge, Amount Financed and Total amount of Payments are reflected
The scenario Ms*** presented in her complaint reflected a zero interest loan, with all payments applied directly towards the principle balance; however, Ms*** does not have a zero interest loan We invite Ms*** to contact a representative of The KEY Finance at her convenience, so that her simple interest loan can be explained at length

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: the reason they are stating the title was returned to them was because of Texas policy of days...The paperwork was returned for the reasons I stated previously: it wasn't properly filled out and contained other information not pertaining to my vehicleI am still currently awaiting the 2nd set of paperwork to arriveAs of today, nothing has been received.
Sincerely,
*** ***

Complaint: ***

In reviewing Ms***'s account history, it appears two separate payments were extended for her; August 21st and September 25thBoth extensions were granted in consideration of her service issues and we invite Ms*** to contact a
representative of The KEY Finance at her convenience, so that a mutually satisfying resolution can be met
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 17, 2015/10/21) */
The response from The Key has been received and reviewedA couple of things need to be noted: At the time the Revdex.com complaint was filed only payment was past due and the complaint lists that I am seeking that the payments be moved to the end of the note until one week after I received an estimateI still do not have an estimate
Not only do I not still have an estimate, but I have been informed by *** of the Service Department that repairs have already been made to the car and that I owe $for said repairsI have never received an estimate and have not authorized repairs to the car
The reason for the Revdex.com complaint was because talking to the representatives of The Key was a futile effortThey were rude, condescending and demandingI made efforts to talk to them to resolve this BEFORE I filed the complaintIn the MONTH it took them to reply to the complaint TWO more payments were dueI am not asking to not make the payments at allI am asking that they put the payments to the end of the note until this can be resolvedAll payments that come due until the repair situation is worked out need to be moved to the end of the note
I still do not have an estimate and I do not have notice from them that the payments will ALL be moved to the end of the note
I also need to know their policy on making repairs without customer authorization
Until I have notification of payments being moved and their policy on making repairs without customer authorization I do not consider this complaint resolved
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 23, 2015/10/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
When I contacted the service department and left a message for ***, the manager, in yet another attempt to get an estimate, *** left a voice mail on my phone telling me that the car was ready to be picked up and that I could bring the $to him in the form of cash, check or money orderI did not authorize the repairs that he has apparently completedContacting the service department is not going to resolve the issue of them making repairs to my car that were not authorizedThe answer to that dilemma needs to come from corporate
I attempted to work with The Key finance department on a number of occasionsIf that had been successful I would not have felt the need to file this complaint with the Revdex.com in the first placeThe collectors are rude, condescending and insistent that I make payments on the carThe car that is in their service departmentOn one occasion of talking to their representatives I was told that they were going to turn the car offMy response was that they could if they wanted to but the service department would have a hard time working on it if they didOn two other occasions I was told they wanted to know where the car was so that they could repossess it(See original complaint) The car was in their service department on both occasionsThey called my daughter and told her that I needed to call them and tell them where the car is so they could repossess itIt was in their service departmentAnd yet, their only response to my complaint and added information is to encourage me to contact their representativeHad calling their representative worked, this complaint would not have had to be filed
I am open to a face to face conference with the VP of operations or someone with the authority to make decisions to resolve this issueThe bottom line is that I have invested a great deal of money into this car and I would like to keep itHowever, their harassment and the unauthorized repairs is making that a difficult proposition when their only answer is to do it their way or no way at all
My resolution to the issue is this: I should not have to pay for repairs that I did not authorizeThe service department should write off the $dollars they say I oweThen, once that is agreed upon, the first payday after that agreement has been reached I will show proof of full coverage insurance, pick up the car and make a payment on the carAll payments between now and that time would be moved to the end of the note and resume as previous until the car is paid offIs someone with the authority to make decisions prepared to talk with me face to face?
Final Business Response /* (4000, 25, 2015/10/26) */
Finance has attempted to reach a mutual resolution regarding Ms***'s concerns and has shared those concerns with Service as wellAgain, we invite Ms*** to contact Service at her convenience and resolve the issue once and for all

Thank you. They reached out to me this morning. Thank you for addressing this so quickly. The Revdex.com is an incredible consumer advocate and I thank you.

Mr. [redacted] spoke with The KEY's service adviser regarding the repair of his vehicle on 1/16/17 and 1/23/17. The KEY requested we receive an estimate sent to our  service center  to be reviewed.  Mr. [redacted] spoke to the Service Director, Mr [redacted]  on 1/31/17 regarding the...

repair. Mr. [redacted] mentioned  that we have not received the estimate from Mr. [redacted] and that the  estimate  would be required  for review in order to authorize any approval. As of 2/24/2017, Mr. [redacted] never supplied any  estimates of repairs. It's my understanding that Mr. [redacted] has since had the repairs covered by the manufacturer, Ford. Mr [redacted]s Title was sent on 1/10/2017 to the county clerks office. Mr. [redacted]  may contact the title department at The KEY for any assistance regarding his title at [redacted] ext 3.
