Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:My apartment was never cleaned to my satisfsctionThat statement is incorrectI am still finding white dog hair through my apartment from the last tenant's apparent dogThere is still white paint and scuff ls on the hardwood floorThis still has not been resolvedMy carpet nor floors ever received a deep cleaningIn fact, their is still unclean cabinet interiors in my apartment Sincerely, [redacted]

With respect to the tenant’s claim the apartment was never cleaned to his satisfaction, we reached out to the tenant via email on August 18, and received no response in regards to the cleaning issue. The tenant has never mentioned re-cleaning anything else in any subsequent emails since that date In addition, we put brand new carpet in the unit prior to him moving in so the notion it was never deep cleaned is a little farfetched. Attached is an invoice from our third party vendor demonstrating we did install brand new carpet Thanks, *** *** Property Manager

Response to complaint #*** In response to the complaints and desired settlement we offer the following: The tenant alerted us to an issue involving two of our access doors on Aug15th via email. We called our third party security access company to inspect the system.
On August 16th they confirmed we needed to order the part from the manufacturer and proceeded with the order. Level notified the tenant on that day of the part being ordered. The part was received on September 9th to the warehouse and was installed on installed on September the 12th. The tenant was notified via email when the part was delivered on September 9th and was also notified September 13th when the repair was made. Our third party security company also checked all doors on property prior to this install and verified they were functioningThe tenant complained about an exit sign being damaged on August 15th which was repaired that day by our staffThe tenant complained on August 18th about when exiting the exterior door, he didn’t need his fob to do so, and therefore the door was unsecure. Our staff instructed him there is a proximity sensor that releases the mag lock for the door to open. This is for safe egress as required by building and ADA/fire codeThe tenant complained on September 8th that the large exterior pedestrian moving gate was left open during the night. After looking into this the next day, it was determined that the gate was propped open by a tenant moving their stuff in late at night. The gate was locked and it was reinforced that our courtesy officers check the gates each night, however, we can’t control what tenants decide to do in the middle of the nightAs the tenant mentioned in their complaint, they had issues with the apartments initial clean which was resolved to the tenant’s satisfaction. We also gave a $rent concession as well as an additional mobasket to apologize for the inconvenienceAs for the desired settlement, all issues the tenant notes have been fixed and will be continually inspected moving forward. Light bulbs burned out, doors needing adjustments & other similar issues are all maintenance prone items that will occur & will be fixed promptly by our staff or vendors. Level always thoroughly cleans apartments prior to move in, steam cleans or replaces the carpets as necessary, etcto the tenant’s satisfaction. As demonstrated in this case, Level staff insured the cleaning crew came back multiple times to meet the tenant’s satisfaction Please let us know if there’s anything else we need to respond to. I am still finding white dog hair through my apartment from the last tenant's apparent dog. There is still white paint and scuff ls on the hardwood floor. This still has not been resolved. My carpet nor floors ever received a deep cleaning. In fact, their is still unclean cabinet interiors in my apartment.
