Review: I purchased a 3 piece sectional black leather on 2/**/13. at this time I needed furniture as hurricane sandy destroyed everything in my home. I told the company that I needed the furniture no later than mid march. this was noted on the invoice and we agreed that although the paper said no refunds, if my furniture did not come by the promised date, they would be in breech of contact and I could cancel. I received a phone call to pay the balance of the furniture BEFORE they would deliver. I did so, and we scheduled the delivery. I asked to see the furniture before it was delivered but they refused stating that it was not possible as it was on the truck. upon delivery, the furniture was the wrong style, color and non electric. I refused delivery. I called to arrange to get my money back and the manager [redacted] said no and I would never get my money back. I called my bank -put in a dispute and called the credit card and disputed the charge. I was refunded the money and went to purchase other furniture. I sent a certified letter to Levetz cancelling order. There was no further activity until 6/*/13 when Levetz re-submitted the charge on my credit card. I am disputing this again and they are investigating. This company did NOT deliver the furniture as promised and therefore broke their contract with me. I should NOT be charged for furniture they ordered in the wrong color, style and functions. This company also uses the name LEVETZ to fool customers in thinking they are a subsidiary of Levitz clearance and using Levitz reputation to fool the customers. [redacted] did tell me that they were a clearance house for Levitz, so I was tricked in thinking the relationship to Levitz. ( I had purchased from Levitz before and trusted them.)Desired Settlement: if my bank/credit card does not find in my favor and charges me the disputed amount, I would like to get my full refund from the store. as of this date, I have a disputed charge back on my credit card for $816.00 this is in investigation. I would also like it noted that this company is using the name to fool customers, I would like it noted on their company that they are crooks, attempting to charge for furniture that was never delivered and they never re-ordered. Please check this complain out and publish so others do not get fooled. thank you.

I am writing you in response to the letter sent to me concerning customer [redacted] who bought a Sofa, Love seat and wedge in black color custom ordered on February [redacted] 2013.

The manufacture sent us in error a dark grey color which we found out upon delivery.

The customer refused to accept the set because it was the wrong color. We offered her to keep the set as a loner in her house while the reorder was sent in the correct color as a courtesy. She refused saying she wanted the color she ordered.

We ordered the new set right away.

The customer then called and said she wanted to cancel. We reminded the customer that per our store policy all sales are final and that there are no exchanges, refunds or cancellations.

Besides, we have the right to replace or reorder the incorrect or damaged items as it says on receipt. The customer agreed to that policy at the time she was buying the furniture and signed the invoice where the store policy is listed (see attached) the customer has the same copy of the invoice.

I then received a chargeback from her credit company at which point I stopped the order pending the results of the charge back. Once the decision is made I will release the order I will have it approximately 4 weeks after that and will delivery promptly as agreed upon on our receipt.

hello, just wanted to let you know that this case # [redacted] has been resolved. My credit card company messaged me today that the $814.27 has been reversed and I do not owe that amount any longer. Thank you for your help in trying to resolve this complaint. It is great to know that there is a organization out there to help with the many problems that arise. God Bless! [redacted] # [redacted]

Review: Okay. I purchased a mattress for my 88 year old husband living at the [redacted] residence in [redacted].

I did this after looking all day and purchasing a mattress elsewhere and then hearing that the product I chose would not be available until January.

It was 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday night, and I was pressed for time to do the purchase as my husband was in rehab from a recent debilitating illness and his [redacted] had gotten huge, and the bed provided at the assisted living was so uncomfortable that he was sleeping upright in a chair. So I bought this nice mattress on a Saturday to be delivered the following Thursday. The store was about to close and the salesman hard sold me - to which I do not object since that is his job. However, bleary-eyed, and although it was part of the receipt I signed, I did not see NOR DID THE SALESMAN POINT OUT or DISCUSS THIS NO REFUNDS POLICY WITH ME, NOR DID I SEE A SIGN IN THE STORE that said FINAL SALE FROM THE SECOND YOU SIGN. Had the policy been pointed out to me, I WOULD NOT HAVE MADE A PURCHASE IN THAT STORE!!!!!!!!!!! Fast forward to tuesday, and I find out that my husband needs a different type of mattress from the one I purchased. Since the mattress had not been out of the factory, I called to cancel and get a refund... Soooooo now I find out that they "made" a mattress just for me and that although it had never even been out of the factory, I was still not entitled to a refund, partial or total. I then wanted to speak to the owner, but it took me weeks to get enough time to catch him during business hours. This week, yesterday (THURS, 10/**) I got through to a different salesperson who said he would talk to the [redacted] on my behalf. I have no way of knowing if he really did that, but he came back repeating the first salesman's offer of store credit or take delivery on the mattress. I even offered them a restocking fee of up to 25%, but they came back with store credit again. We are talking a thousand dollars here, and now I had to buy a whole different bed as well. Do I have any recourse at all, or am I getting some new furniture with the store credit. I HAVE THUS FAR NOT TRASHED THE PLACE ON [redacted] OR SIMILAR SOCIAL MEDIA SITES, BUT I AM GOOD TO GO IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO HELP ME WITH THIS RIDICULOUS EXPENDITURE.. The salesmen I dealt with were [redacted] at the time of purchase, and [redacted] this week on the phone.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate a full refund, but would happily pay a restocking fee of up to 25%. My husband's illness, he is a WWII veteran, by the way, is costing us his life's savings, and since the circumstances of the purchase were so stressful due to my own exhaustion dealing with all his bills and medical issues, I am hoping that an exception can be made to the store;s policy in my case, especially since the mattress never left the factory...

Review: On 11/**/14 Iorder a set of furniture from this place and waited for seven weeks until the delivery,finally came and the furniture was complitely the wrong color ,size none of the beautiful furniture that they show there on the store , I tried to talk to them to refund the money since everything its theyre mistake ,now they want to force on me this horrible piece of furniture just because of the policy,which its not fear. Please help me as a customer I have no where to turn, thanks.Desired Settlement: I need for them to credit back my account for the full amount of $2660.00 and take the defected piece of furniture they delivered , one of them because it was a set[ sofa and loveseat]. I only got the loveseat and its damage.
