MrLevi's response goes back to our original complaintWe were assured no visible seams and Levi's Carpet failed to deliver what was assured to us by MrF*In his response he "hopes" steaming will make these visible seams betterWe have no trust that MrLevi can deliver on hopeMrLevi stated laying the additional carpet will not resolve the problemThat should have been stated by MrF* before or at purchaseAgain, MrF* personally selected the carpet and personally gave the assurance of no visible seamsThis complaint has gone on far too long without resolutionWe are going to file a complaint with Angies List and proceed to recover $600.00+ as outlined in the initial complaint about the steps we were pursuingWe thank the Revdex.com for attempting a resolution

We never rejected the offer of a refund of what we suggested was steaming in an attempt to reduce visibility of seamsWe don't as our literature states guarantee invisible seams periodThere is no carpet company that guarantees invisible seamsOur efforts were to try and make this customer happy with his installation by steaming the carpet first since he offered options one of which was to remake seams so that they were invisible that was not an option as we view it That left one option which is to buy our way out of it , first off this customer came up with the idea of dollars because I mentioned that was the amount of extra carpet he would have needed to buy to eliminate feet of seamingI was in his house with his wife when I made the offer to figure out what it would cost for that and at the same time told them it was not money well spentMy point is that the money he's talking about was never figured into the original sale In closing again we never closed the book on the monetary offer we just thought since we were spending we deserved the right to steam first before buying our way out of something we never promised to begin with

price to eliminate the end seamI also told her that if this was my own house, same layout that I would not have spent extra money to eliminate seamingIn response to invisible seaming Floors has never promised invisibility of seams in fact we post this on our website and in our installation guidelines The first paragraph on the bottom of our sales slips asks if you have reviewed your installation guidelines with your salespersonI don't believe that this customer is misrepresenting what he thought Randy said as much as there is a breakdown in the understanding process Where as Randy states to customer that this carpet will seam better than what you currently have and or better than your first choiceWhile we regret that the customer is not happy with the seams we believe them to be up to industry standard as we allude to in the brochure and onlineIn closing we have been asked not to contact this customer and would ask that the Revdex.com pass the offer of steaming the seams we have found in some cases it relaxes the carpet and may reduce peaking which is sometimes beneficial to seam appearanceI will be mailing documents with regards to seams and installation
