I  am writing in response to the ridiculous reply received from Lewes Body Works. First, please understand that the comment "may or may not have been inaccurate" is quite amazing to me. When Mr. [redacted] called with the price on the additional parts, he clearly told us it would be
$200.00. He never said that this price was subject to change. Therefore, it was clearly inaccurate. Second, the comment about wanting to get out of paying for parts is another absurd comment.  I am not trying to get out of paying for parts.  I have no problem paying for the additional $200.00 quoted.  My problem is with the extra $163.00 that Mr. [redacted] did not think important enough to call and alert us to. Any respectable business person would have done so and any respectable business person would stand behind his quotes as well. Lastly, I never received any kind of apology. All that went on in our "discussion" was yelling. Mr. [redacted] slammed his door as he came in and was clearly annoyed that he was even being questioned and he continued to scream at me for the entire conversation till he walked out of the office on me.  Is this what he thinks is the kind of treatment good paying people deserve?  If so, Idon't know anyone who would want to give him their business.
I  would like this on file so that others who choose to check the Revdex.com before using a local business will be aware that they need to be very careful about requesting pricing and checking on estimates.
It's quite a shame because we have brought several of our cars to this establishment and referred countless others.  However, that ends immediately.
I  do thank you for trying to mediate this situation but to no avail.

Review: Brought a vehicle to the shop for work to be done. Had previously received an estimate for such work. After first day, the owner called to say he found additional parts were needed which would cost $200.00 more. We gave the ok to proceed. I went to pick up the car today and was charged a additional $163.27. When I asked to speak with the owner regarding this, he came into the office slammed the door, asked the assistant to leave and not come back in, and proceeded to yell at me. He made a mistake and said he wasn't responsible for that. He treated me like a piece of dirt and even threatened to go and remove the parts he used to fix the car. I have never been spoken to or treated like that by any respectable business owner. He was incredibly unprofessional and rude.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded the amount that I was charged over the $200.00 authorized as we never received another phone call for any additional amount.
