Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I would like this business to submit prove that they have been servicing our AC needs for years as they claimedThey agreed to provide quarterly visits and they have not shown up for over yearsIf they have proof that they visited and service my husband's AC needs, I want to see itAlso, they never spoke to the owner of the houseMy husband's caregivers are not authorized to answer phones or agree to anyone coming to our house unless I approve itI want this business to show me documentation that they spoke to me about comingIndeed it will not be possible because I was out town on the roadWe have a different company that services our AC since Lewis Air abandoned their agreement to come quarterlyAnd even if someone answer the phone, it was not possible that it was the owner of the house, my husband is on a ventilator and I was out of town and both of our kids were away in collegeBut to give them even that possibility that they called and someone answer, which it would only be my house guest and or the caregiver, how would neither of these two people know which AC company was calling? They did not possess information on the history of how Lewis Air had been let go for now showing up as agreedHow would anyone except the homeowner would have knowledge that a new AC company had been providing the service for the past years.I do not care if Lewis Air claims to be in business for over plus years, the burden of proof is on them to demonstrate that indeed they have an agreement with me to service my AC for the past years As a matter of fact, the new technician found the filters placed on a unit that does not require filters as these are built into the features of the AC unitSo, Lewis past services had been not even appropriate and intermittent and NOT as agreed, quarterly Regards, [redacted]

We have service records in our scheduling data that we have been out Pulling the actual service tickets would mean going into storage That is not the issue The issue is our service department was going through all of the customers that had done maintenance's in the past and asking them is they would like us to come and do maintenance on their unit We normally charge and we have a special for per system The person we spoke to was a [redacted] and the person we had done business in our previous records is [redacted] [redacted] booked the appointment, we have no record of [redacted] And the person who called to complain was a women claiming to be [redacted] and she is the one who hung up on us when we called to discuss this issue Again the issue they do not want to pay for service that was done, the appointment was made and confirmed and we were let inside the house by someone, we explained who we were and we did maintain both units, the heater, the coil and the A/C unit of both systems We charged per system as we mentioned in our phone call Yes the filters were washed and cleaned not replaced each system is different, but there was not a charge for the filters We are familiar with these types of filters since we installed the system I do not know who this person is claiming to be [redacted] we never dealt with a [redacted] , we only dealt with a [redacted] and a [redacted] I think they do not want to pay the bill and if they would not have hung up on us we probably could have come to a civil agreement, but the fact that they cannot communicate with us does not make sense They own us the money for services rendered It is not right to say this is a mystery, we have records of making the appointment, confirming the appointment and then being welcomed in the house to do the service And at the end the husband said his wife had the check book and would send a check and we gladly accepted that trusting they would send payment This is the type of people who ruin our trust for the rest of the community We will take this matter to a collection agency if we have to just for the principle, we did a service and did a good job and a being accused of just mysteriously showing up and charging for a service Bottom line is they did not have to let us in the home to perform the service

In response to complaint for ** *** *** in *** *** We have been servicing this address for over years We called our customers who request maintenance to let them know their maintenance is due and make an appointment with them We never just show up In
February our office called and explained who we were and booked an appointment for March 3, On March 2nd a confirmation call was made reminding the homeowner that we would be coming to their home the following day On March 3rd our tech went to the home, arrived at the door in uniform which clearly states the name of our company and also has a vehicle with our company name on it, he was welcomed in the door to do the work He spent hours plus doing a maintenance on systems, when he was finished he was checking out with the homeowner who signed the service ticket and collecting payment, and the homeowner clearly stated my wife has the check book and we mail you a check Our tech called the office to ask if this was ok that a check be mailed, we agreed since we did install the system and they had been a previous customer for so many years Regarding the invoice, If it was late we may have called to ask for payment We did received a call saying she wanted to discuss this invoice and when we called and spoke to the homeowners wife she said "we were not authorized to be there" and I said "why did you go ahead with scheduling the appointment with our office and why were we let in the door to do the work?" at that moment she hung up on me That was the only call made and since she hung up on us we sent her a letter asking for payment for our work, the filters we put in and the service we provided We said if it was not paid it will go to collections please call us to resolve the issue In short, we do not just go to random homes looking for work We have been in business for years and want the best for our customers in no way was this customer taken advantage of or even given service that was not done I am sorry that they feel they should not pay the bill This is no reflection on our quality of service we provide

We have service records in our scheduling data that we have been out.  Pulling the actual service tickets would mean going into storage.  That is not the issue.  The issue is our service department was going through all of the customers that had done maintenance's in the past and asking them is they would like us to come and do maintenance on their unit.  We normally charge 99.00 and we have a special for 79.00 per system.  The person we spoke to was a [redacted] and the person we had done business in our previous records is [redacted].   [redacted] booked the appointment, we have no record of [redacted].  And the person who called to complain was a women claiming to be [redacted] and she is the one who hung up on us when we called to discuss this issue.  Again the issue they do not want to pay for service that was done, the appointment was made and confirmed and we were let inside the house by someone, we explained who we were and we did maintain both units, the heater, the coil and the A/C unit of both systems.  We charged 79.00 per system as we mentioned in our phone call.  Yes the filters were washed and cleaned not replaced each system is different, but there was not a charge for the filters.  We are familiar with these types of filters since we installed the system.   I do not know who this person is claiming to be [redacted]. we never dealt with a [redacted], we only dealt with a [redacted] and a [redacted].  I think they do not want to pay the bill and if they would not have hung up on us we probably could have come to a civil agreement, but the fact that they cannot communicate with us does not make sense.  They own us the money for services rendered.  It is not right to say this is a mystery, we have records of making the appointment, confirming the appointment and then being welcomed in the house to do the service.   And at the end the husband said his wife had the check book and would send a check and we gladly accepted that trusting they would send payment.  This is the type of people who ruin our trust for the rest of the community.  We will take this matter to a collection agency if we have to just for the principle, we did a service and did a good job and a being accused of just mysteriously showing up and charging for a service.  Bottom line is they did not have to let us in the home to perform the service.

They agreed to provide quarterly visits and they have not shown up for over 2 years. If they have proof that they visited and service my husband's AC needs, I want to see it. Also, they never spoke to the owner of the house. My husband's caregivers are not authorized to answer phones or agree to anyone coming to our house unless I approve it. I want this business to show me documentation that they spoke to me about coming. Indeed it will not be possible because I was out town on the road.
We have a different company that services our AC since Lewis Air abandoned their agreement to come quarterly. And even if someone answer the phone, it was not possible that it was the owner of the house, my husband is on a ventilator and I was out of town and both of our kids were away in college. But to give them even that possibility that they called and someone answer, which it would only be my house guest and or the caregiver, how would neither of these two people know which AC company was calling? I do not care if Lewis Air claims to be in business for over 20 plus years, the burden of proof is on them to demonstrate that indeed they have an agreement with me to service my AC for the past 2 years.  As a matter of fact, the new technician found the filters placed on a unit that does not require filters as these are built into the features of the AC unit. So, Lewis past services had been not even appropriate and intermittent and NOT as agreed, quarterly.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this companies response will not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.1. Lewis Air must submit prove that they have serviced our home AC needs the past two years
2. There is no one by the name of [redacted] in our household!
3. [redacted] is my husband and he has not been able to walk or answer the phone since 2006 because he is 100% quadriplegic due to his military service. He is wheel-chair bound, breathes through a mechanical ventilator and is care for 24/7 by caregivers.
4. [redacted] hang up because Lewis Air employee was not willing to listen to why this service was delivered on error and instead she was rude and insisting the appointment had been made.
The insensitive response to a disabled veteran household proves that this company has no business understanding medical needs and responsibility to serve the household of a patient who relies on clean air quality. Lewis Air failed to deliver quarterly services to the home of a disabled veteran and for two years they did not show up. If Lewis Air does not stop their harassment we will be forced to report them to ADA and Veterans organizations for proper investigation. We are at the mercy of business practices such as the one Lewis Air tried to by taking advantage of obtaining "permission" to deliver services NOT authorized by the owner who was out of town!
We will fight this one if it requires legal action! No business is going to hold us hostage to a $150 bill for services I did not approve. It is NOT the money, it is a matter of principle and their insistent replies to our complaint through Revdex.com shows their unwillingness to admit they made a mistake by not obtaining permission to deliver services from the owner! No, [redacted] could have not done it due to his disability, NO the caregivers could have not done it because they are instructed to check with me first, and NO, a house guest would have not had any knowledge of which vendor provides services at our home. [redacted], is the spouse and executes [redacted]'s Power of Attorney in this matter!
