Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We are not at all satisfied with your proposed resolution and expect to be fully reimbursed for our loss After spending more than $24,to remodel our master bathroom, and waiting months for multiple repairs to be completed, we are still experiencing water leaks that are causing damage to our kitchen ceiling which is located directly below the newly remodeled master bathroomIn fact, only a couple of weeks had passed since the remodel was supposedly complete before the leaks began to appear, staining the closet wall adjacent to the shower and staining the kitchen ceiling below At that time, we began to further investigate the credibility and expertise of our contractors and discovered Ray K [redacted] and April L***, owners of Lewis and Ark Builders (formerly Lewis Interiors) never obtained a permit from [redacted] Code Enforcement to do the work for which they had contracted This fact has been verified by [redacted] from [redacted] Code Enforcement Additionally, we found Lewis and Ark Builders was not licensed to do residential plumbing or electrical work and their employees doing the actual job were not licensed plumbers or electricians either During this time of multiple repair attempts, weeks would pass before April or Ray would respond to phone or text messagesWe have identified three separate water leaks that are fully attributed to improper construction, installation and craftsmanship by Lewis and Ark Builders The first leak came from a custom shower shelf that was inadequately built and improperly installed, which subsequently leaked behind the shower wall and adjacent closet wall, then down to the rooms belowThe second water leak came from a shower head system that was improperly installed, leaving gaping holes where the inlet pipes are located Water from the shower easily found its way down through those holes and travelled to the rooms below The third leak was found from an improperly installed bathtub faucet where water found its way through the floor mounted base to the kitchen below Again, we continue to have leaks due to the "slap together" nature of their multiple attempts to repair the inadequate original work This is destroying the kitchen ceiling below In response to April's claim of verbal attack, we have learned that she has pulled this trick before with other clients I have never been contacted or questioned by authorities regarding her supposed claim of verbal attack I believe this is April's way trying to gain control in a situation where she clearly has no other recourse Regards, *** [redacted]

As we explained to Mr. [redacted]... His project is not under warranty at this time. We spent several months repairing a water leak in the bathroom from spaces in the tile that were manufactured that way. We satisfied the customer in doing everything that was asked of us without complaint. Repairing...

the issue as needed and required of us. Customer also verbally attached me at our place of business and law enforcement has to be called to keep customer from causing more public displays. That aside.. We have spent a great deal of money and time to make this customer happy. Including purchasing and installing additional products that were not part of the original contract. Again, in an effort to make them happy. I feel we have completed our obligations to this customer. We also have statements from them stating how happy they were with the install.

We have done everything necessary for this project. Inspectors were at the project. The faucet was leaking from a valve- we ordered a new faucet and installed it under warranty.  The leak in the shower inset was repaired under warranty. Shower faucet never needed repaired- we caulked around it as an added insurance against future leaks. We inspected everything and repaired everything that needed repaired. I will not get into anymore false attacks toward me or my company. If we were so terrible they would not have contacted us to go and do more work at their home last week.  We have completed hundreds of jobs without incident and customers are completely happy. Unfortunately there was a leak in the shower tile inset that needed repairs and we repaired it. No company is 100% all the time, but we try to be and we honor our warranties given to customer for one year- we always have and always will. This is retaliation for us not making more repairs beyond the warranty on the project. Regrettably that is all there is here.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We are not at all satisfied with your proposed resolution and expect to be fully reimbursed for our loss.  After spending more than $24,000 to remodel our master bathroom, and waiting months for multiple repairs to be completed, we are still experiencing water leaks that are causing damage to our kitchen ceiling which is located directly below the newly remodeled master bathroom. We were told to cease and decist all work on [redacted] job. We will not go back as instructed by the state. We have not been to customer's home in months anyway. Customer is making up things again. We have a full schedule. We are working four projects at a time. Lots of happy customers. Spreading false statements is slander.
