Review: Everytime I contact them for an appointment or go in for an appointment they are very rude and I end having an anxiety attack after I get off the phone with them. They need to learn better customer service skills and understand that they are representing the doctors who care for patients.Desired Settlement: That they be reprimanded for their actions by putting them in some training for customer service skills and working with the public.

Review: I went to Lewis Gale at Valley View and was given an prescription which I was allergic to, sulfa is clearly on my chart and I asked dr [redacted] repeatedly to confirm that sulfa was not in the meds...it was, I ended up at the ER suffering from an allergic reaction (lewis gale er)..I have since called lewis gale physicians and complained of the bill, they confirmed with dr [redacted] this happened and wrote off the bill...I now have a bill from Lewis Gale ER for over $400.00 which has been turned over to collections...I have called numerous times and I'm told either they cant help me or they will call back, no calls and no avail, I should not have to pay this bill...I want resolution!

INITAL DATE OF SERVICE WITH DR [redacted] WAS 7-17-15 AND ER VISIT WAS 8-2-15

I went to the ER as I broke out in hives and could not breath, I realize this was a mistake...I just want this bill wrote off as they did with the physician bill and removed from collections.

I realize you may think this is a health related compliant but its really over this bill I do not owe and I can not get anyone at Lewis Gale to help me...please help me.Desired Settlement: to have my bill with lewis gale resolved with no money out of my pocket, [redacted] admitted this was her error.

Review: I was referred to Lewis Gale Imaging at [redacted] for an MRI to assist in diagnosing a knee issue. Prior to my appointment on April 22, 2015, I called Lewis Gale Imaging at [redacted] to inquire about the cost of the MRI. I advised the agent that I would not be able to afford to keep the appointment if it was too expensive. She requested, and I provided, my health insurance information. She ran the insurance and told me that my total out of pocket cost would be $267.00 and she stated that my insurance carrier would cover the rest. We had a pleasant conversation and she asked me if the amount was more or less than I was expecting and I told her that it was more than I was hoping, but that I would keep the appointment. When I arrived for the MRI on April 22, I again asked her to confirm that my total cost was $267. She again stated that that was my total out of pocket cost and that my health insurer was paying for the rest. I wrote the check for $267 and gave it to her.

I was quite surprised when I received a bill approximately one month later for $1221.18 from [redacted], Inc., which is apparently Lewis Gale Imaging’s accounts receivable agent. I called [redacted] on June 3, 2015 to discuss the invoice. The agent that I spoke with could not speak substantively about the charges on the invoice. His response to me was: My computer screen states that you that you owe $1221.18, so therefore you owe $1221.18. He also indicated that there was no one else at [redacted] or Lewis Gale that I could further speak with regarding the invoice. I advised that I could not pay the bill and that I needed to speak with someone that could discuss the charges with me.

Lewis Gale Imaging has subsequently sent my account to two collections agencies.

I believe that I did my job the best that I could as a consumer to understand the cost of the procedure and to make an informed decision about whether to keep the MRI appointment. I do not believe that it is fair for Lewis Gale Imaging to send my account to collections.Desired Settlement: Zero-out account balance; cease collection efforts.
