would like to say how sorry I am that you have been disappointed with your rings for over 7 years and this is the first I've heard of it. Our goal as always is to satisfy every one of our customers above and beyond what is expected. This is one reason we have been in business since 1945 while other stores around us have been closing. To address the issue of white gold I have to start by saying that in nature white gold does not exist. White gold is a man-made metal comprised of yellow gold and white alloy metals blended together to give the gold a whitish appearance. The metal is then plated with a hard white durable metal called rhodium which gives the metal a very bright white appearance. Depending on how the ring is worn and maintained this rhodium plating will wear off over time and leave the base composition color which is white with a yellowish tint to it. This metal was originally popularized as an inexpensive substitute for platinum. At the onset of [redacted] Platinum was banned for luxury use in this country due it's high demand in the manufacturing of weapons Etc. Therefore white gold became the only precious white metal substitute for jewelry. It is widely known and understood throughout the industry that white gold rings need to be refinished and re- rhodium plated every 1 to 5 years depending on wear. I urge you to research white gold from an independent source. You can do a Google search on the history of white gold to further understand it.
