Good morning,Per our conversation yesterday in regard to the complaint [redacted] and Equipment called about an 08' Genie 10K Telescopic fork [redacted] that was listed for $38,They offered $34,and that offer was acceptedWe had a local mechanic come and inspect the machine for them prior to payment and emailed over the inspectionThey made the payment and came and picked up the machine and delivered to their customer roughly an hour from where the machine was locatedWhy wasn't the buyer instructed to see the machine in person with the unit being so close to where he was? Upon delivery of the machine [redacted] called saying the customer wasn't happy with a few things on the unitThey stated a bald tire, some leaks, and the leveling arrow in the boom was missing and it needed a full serviceI told them at that time that I would pay for a new tire, the arrow and help on the leaks [redacted] then sent the unit to be repairedAbout weeks went by and in that time I was updated on when the machine would be fixed but "NEVER" given an update on costsIn one email they mentioned one of the leaks being from the differential and I emailed back "What Differential Leak?" and no response was repliedKnowing that a differential leak would be costly I was curios to see where the costs whereSoon after that they called and stated that the total costs for repair would be around $12,I was taken back that know one had thought it would be a good idea to let me know that the costs where that high and not just given me an option in the beginning to just give [redacted] their money back and take my machine backWhich is what anybody in this business would have doneI sent them a check for $which I felt was fair considering their lack there of consideration that I would just pay a $12,bill and not just take my machine backSo not only did I take $4,off the asking price I sent them a check for an additional $Their invoice clearly states "As Is Where Is"

We purchased a telehandler from Lewis MachineryThe purchase of the machine was contingent upon the condition report (documented) and the machine being in work ready condition
• Condition report consistently showed “like new” scores
• Condition report marks “yes” for rent ready
• Condition report marks the machine as an 8/for overall condition
The unit was delivered to our customer with the assumption that the condition report was true, in fact it was not
We requested to send it back to Lewis Machinery for repair but, they wanted us to send it to a third party for repairLewis Machinery agreed that unit needed repair and agreed to pay for the repairs needed We sent it to American Equipment, in Hobbs, NM, for service(documented) We send it local to customer to avoid further shipping costs
It cost us $(documented) to make the unit useable to our customerVia email, Lewis Machinery agreed to correct the error(documented)
At this point they are reneging o

Good morning,Per our conversation yesterday in regard to the complaint. [redacted] and Equipment called about an 08' Genie 10K Telescopic fork[redacted] that was listed for $38,0000. payment and emailed over the inspection. They made the payment and came and picked up the machine and delivered to their customer roughly an hour from where the machine was located. Why wasn't the buyer instructed to see the machine in person with the unit being so close to where he was? Upon delivery of the machine [redacted] called saying the customer wasn't happy with a few things on the unit. They stated a bald tire, some leaks, and the leveling arrow in the boom was missing and it needed a full service. I told them at that time that I would pay for a new tire, the arrow and help on the leaks.  [redacted] then sent the unit to be repaired. About 3 weeks went by and in that time I was updated on when the machine would be fixed but "NEVER" given an update on costs. In one email they mentioned one of the leaks being from the differential and I emailed back "What Differential Leak?" and no response was replied. Knowing that a differential leak would be costly I was curios to see where the costs where. Soon after that they called and stated that the total costs for repair would be around $12,000. I was taken back that know one had thought it would be a good idea to let me know that the costs where that high and not just given me an option in the beginning to just give [redacted] their money back and take my machine back. Which is what anybody in this business would have done. I sent them a check for $1500 which I felt was fair considering their lack there of consideration that I would just pay a $12,000 bill and not just take my machine back. So not only did I take $4,000 off the asking price I sent them a check for an additional $1500. Their invoice clearly states "As Is Where Is".
