This customer is not the owner of the vehicle and cannot provide proof of ownership

I am rejecting this response because: This response is outrageousFirst of all, I am not a con artist trying to recover something that isn't mineSecondly, I was not even day behind in my storage payments and I have receipts to prove thatIf the storage company truly did say that I will be filing a complaint against them as well. I know exactly whats in that trailer the only reason we asked to see inside is because our lock was removed and we want to ensure that the contents have not been removed before paying the $5000+ the tow yard wants in fees (not such a CRAZY request)There was no fake bill of sale, and the registration and licence plate from the DMV are quite realLewis Towing has done nothing but give us the run aroundThe paperwork from the storage company should have my name on it as I am the one who had the space rented there for the last yearI got the trailer from *** *** but never transferred it into my name ( I did not foresee this situation)When my wife and I went in to the tow yard office weeks after it was towed the person told us my name was not mentioned in the paperwork at all and we would need something from the DMV to claim itWe asked whose name it was in and she said "nobody, at this point its ours"So my wife said "So anybody who comes in here with the right paperwork can take it?" she said "yes with something notarized or from the DMV" she also gave us the amount of the fees due that day it was $we asked for copies of the paperwork and they declined. The Tow yard should also have that conversation on video. If the tow yard would like to use their attorney that is fine, I am going to consult with one as well

Dear Ms. [redacted],Hello, I have responded to this complaint a while ago regarding this person who is complaining about a trailer.  This person is not the owner of this trailer as he is mentioning it over...

and over in his letter and the previous complaint. He is just a con artist with a second person as he is mentioning the name in his complaint. (Mr. [redacted]. We have both these people on video tape trying to recover something that is not theirs. Even We have Mr. [redacted] on the tape admitting to what they are trying to do. I only answer to the person who is the legal owner at DMV and who was on the DMV records as the last owner. This person has not had any proof of ownership when he came to get the trailer and he admitted that he was not the owner and you see that in his complaint over and over.If you read this persons complaint and the previous complaint very clearly he is mentioning that he is trying to recover something that is not his. His friend [redacted] went and made a fake bill of sale that they purchased this trailer, we have a copy of it and his ID on file. This person who is complaining as he claims that the trailer is theirs but do not know what is the content in the trailer, Also, he is mentioning that over and over that he will not release it unless he knows what is in there. ( A crazy request). If he is the owner how he does not have any knowledge of the content??This trailer was parked at a storage lot facility without the storage payments were paid for few month , and that's why it was impounded. We have a signed ticket from the storage facility authorizing us to remove the trailer out of their facility. The original owner has received a notification by DMV that if they dont claim the trailer and pay the storage charges they will lose ownership of the trailer. The owner never responded to us or the storage facility or DMV with in the time that the law requires the owner to claim their property. The owner of this vehicle never came to our yard with the proof of ownership to release the trailer. If this person who is making the complaint was the owner he would of responded to the lien filling in the proper manner as the law requires. Since he never proved his ownership we don't have to respond to him in any manner. If he has anything to say we have our attorney on board to pursue this matter with him.I explain the situation to you and your office as a business courtesy to Revdex.com, and I dont have to answer a person who is trying to use the system to commit an act of fraud without showing any documents that he is the owner. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at my office.Sincerely[redacted]Lewis Towing 2 Inc.
