RUN, get as far away from them as possible. They stressed us out and were dishonest, we will never forget the awful experience. Seriously, get a good attorney if you plan to build a home with Lexar of Spokane.
What was your experience? How did you handle it? We haven't started building, but we signed the contract with Lexar and are less than pleased. They attempted to raise the cost one week after we signed our contract, after being promised this would never happen, as "other builders will raise the price if you don't meet the deadlines in their contacts." This was the reason we decided to go with Lexar and not another builder. Now, our entire build is threatened because they want the additional costs up front. With all of our money already put into land prep, electricity install and water, we have nothing left. Can you recommend a good attorney?
We are very happy with our Lexar home, and the high quality team that made it a reality. They have made a very streamlined process making choices simple, yet still having the flexibility that met our expectations perfectly.
Our home was completed under scheduled time, all our questions were responded to quickly and any concerns for how things would be done were quickly addressed and met or exceeded our expectations.
We have now lived in our home for almost two years, and are very pleased to say this home has met our efficiency and quality expectations.
We would not hesitate to recommend Lexar Homes, their pride in quality and professionalism are outstanding.

Review: Throughout the process of building our home we had to constantly check to make sure they didn't cut any corners. We had a year warranty and at our walk thru at 1 year we had a couple things that needed done. They addressed one problem by getting an estimate but still after more than 6 months later have not followed through on any of the warranty fixes. I would follow up with them more about this matter, but because they did such a poor job the first time I really don't want them ever in my home again. They may be more affordable than other home builders, but it shows in the quality and effort the buyer has to put forth to get the job done right.Desired Settlement: I would love to trust this company to come in my home and fix these problems but I dont. My wife fears that if they did come we'd just have more to complain about because they would do such a poor job. We would want a reimbursement for the work, but we know that is unlikely with this company. So we really just think it's only fair to let people know this is not an A+ company.

We have been in our Lexar home for a year now, and could not be happier. Prior to breaking ground, we hit many snafus, mostly related to the unique characteristics of our property, and how the county perceived it. There was a lot of back and forthing to get approval. The house plan had to be dramatically altered three times...which made our home very custom. Each time, Bob cheerfully made the adjustments. We were concerned that the delays would put us into winter... which it did. Frozen ground was not an issue for the Lexar crew. They proceeded at a much faster rate than we expected. Everyone associated with Lexar has been friendly and professional. We are very pleased with the quality of our home, and have received many compliments. Thank you, [redacted] and [redacted], for creating our dream home!
In 2013 my wife and I were looking for a reputable home builder in the greater Spokane area to build our retirement home for us. A friend suggested we look at Lexar Homes. We are very glad we did. They made it a point to treat us as if we were their only customer. From the very first look at the many home options available to selecting our home plan and throughout the build process, we were very pleased with our choice of builder. All of the office and construction staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations. Any issues or concerns that we had were quickly and professionally addressed. All items agreed upon were provided. There were no surprises. All of the sub-contractors could not have been friendlier. On every occasion I walked on the build site I was always asked by the sub-contractors if there were any questions or concerns I had. If sop, they quickly addressed them. Our home was completed ahead of schedule and under our expected budget. I highly recommend Lexar Homes to anyone looking for a builder to build your new home.
My wife and I had a home built with Lexar a few years ago and we could not be more pleased. I built homes for a living and the construction and attention to detail is excellent. I felt that all the materials used were high quality both inside the house and out. All the subcontractors work was high quality as well. The staff at Lexar was excellent to work with and addressed any concerns quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of building a home.
Lexar Homes of Spokane built a great home for us. We saved a ton of money with their program. We've been happy to use our home as a show home on a handful of occasions to help them successfully sell additional home packages.
