I felt impelled to take the time to write a product review of the HairMax Professional 12 Laser Comb (Lexington International). I am extremely disappointed in the results. I used the comb as directed, yet much of my hair has come out from the root, there is an extreme amount of shedding, and breakage. I contacted Lexington International on three separate occasions and each time the representatives told me to continue using the product - some shedding is expected. In addition, when I contacted Lexington Int'l I also wanted to make sure that I was using the comb correctly - I was assured that I was using it correctly. Therefore, I continued using the HairMax Professional 12 Laser Comb for a total of four (4) months.
At the very end of the fourth month I decided that it was best to discontinue usage because my hair had been badly damaged. My hair was much, much, thinner than when I began usage; and the texture of my hair had changed. After using the HairMax Pro the texture of my hair was now limp, and it appeared over-processed. Please note: I had virgin hair, and I have not had a perm in my hair for more than two years. (Additionally, when I washed my hair an excessive amount would come out on my hands - scary).
Previously I had thick and longer than shoulder length hair, but it was beginning to thin. I purchased the HairMax Pro, because the advertisement practically guaranteed that the HairMax Pro would aid in growing thicker hair. The HairMax Pro did the exact opposite for me, in fact, had I continued using it I believe it would have taken ALL of my hair out.
I returned the HairMax Pro on 13 July 2015, and Lexington International did refund my money as promised, minus the 20% restocking fee.
I have tried to be as truthful as possible, therefore, as I previously stated I felt impelled to write this review (after much thought/deliberation) so that other potential buyers could be AWARE!!! Let me also state that I am an African American female, and I always try my very best to take exceptional care of my hair - that's why I purchased the HairMax Professional 12 Laser Comb. However, using this product did not work out in a positive manner for me.
